51 I saw Toriel chugging down the basement.

The question might have made her disappointed.

I shouldn't have done that.

"I will apologize." I followed her.

52 Down the dusty basement, she was standing there.

"You want to leave, my child? I am only protecting you.

There are dangers ahead of you. Or else,

the king will capture you and get your soul." She said.

53 "You are just like the others. They come. They leave. They die.

You naive child, I am only protecting you.

Go to your room." She continued.

I decided not. I still followed her.

54 I saw her going to the gate of the ruins, the exit.

"You want to leave, huh? There is only one solution to this.

Prove you are strong enough to defeat me." She said.

The setting came black. I saw her hands covered in fire.

55 I decide not to fight her. Instead, I kept talking to her, just as she said.

She shot fireballs down to my soul, penetrating deeply.

I ignored the pain. I just want to protect my mother.

I fell down to the ground, hurt.

56 She ended up tired. She stopped.

"I-I know you want t-to leave here. But w-we can have a g-good life here.

I get it. Y-You would just b-be unhappy trapped down h-here.

Y-You have your own family, aren't you?" She said.

57 "My child, you can go home now. I'll let you pass.

When you leave here, go to the king's castle.

Cross the barrier, and you will be free." She said.

Toriel thanked me for everything. I thanked her in return.

58 She knelt down and hugged me tightly, rubbing my back with her soft hand.

Standing up, she said "Be good, alright?"

Toriel burst out in tears walking away.

She looked at me, then she left.

59 I cried. I tried to follow her in the house.

I can't find her. I searched everywhere in the ruins

but I can't find her.

"I'm sorry, my mother. I have to go."

60 Leaving through the big door, I saw Flowey planted in his spot.

"Man, you spared the life of a single person." He said.

I wiped my tears off. I moved on.

"Are you crying? Such a poor crybaby. Hee hee hee!" He said.

61 "In this world, it's still KILL or BE KILLED!" He exclaimed.

Flowey hid in his spot. I walked to the mysterious big gate.

It went all white. There was light.

I managed to get out of the ruins.
