John stood next to Sherlock as they watched the new leader Rabbitstar pick his deputy. Greg took the title well and for once a sense of relief washed over the clan. Everything was chaos after the raid but now everyone in the clan knew to avoid the drugs and what to look for. They decided to take full patrol style groups when the daylight warriors went into town. And they were finally promoted to be full warriors. Fernleap kept her happiness as suppressed as she could though, for there was great sadness in the clan still. Leafstar was gone. But she looked down on them from Starclan. John sat comfortably next to Sherlock and breathed in his scent. Everything would be ok.
Sherlock looked up at the ceremony but his thoughts were on the rogues. They might come back, and we have to be ready for them. The game is yet to be over, it's still afoot.
