Chapter 20

Selena's POV

I smiled,stepping out and into Justin's car after the award show.

"Excuse me" Nina kept saying as she climbed into the backseat

I jumped into the passenger seat,seeing Justin getting pulled away from the car

"Nina,open the door" I said,seeing she was already pulling on the handle

I grabbed Justin's hand,pulling him right in as he started the car and sped out with the help of police around us.I sighed,laying back on my seat.

"Are you guys getting used to the famous life yet?" I asked

"No!" Nina screamed

"Not at all" Justin said

I chuckled,seeing Justin pass by the neighbor hoods.It was dark,the only thing lighting the places was the street lights.What I didn't expect was Justin pulling over and into an empty parking lot.

"Justin,why are you parking here?" I asked

"It's this little surprise I wanna show you" He said

"What surprise?" I asked,"Nina did you k-"

I turned around and saw her laying on the leather seating with her hands under her cheek and her red dress dropping over the seating.

"Well I guess she's out of the convo" I said,seeing the car door open beside me,"Justin,where are you taking me?"

"Oh somewhere" He said,smiling as he covered my eyes

"Your not gonna hurt me are you?" I said,freaking out

"No,I would never hurt you" He said,resting his chin on my shoulder and covered my eyes

"It is snowing now and your taking me out here?" I asked,chuckling

"Just wait and you'll see" He said and I could feel him grin behind me

As we kept walking,we finally stopped and I sighed,"Thank goodness,I felt like I was gonna fall"

He uncovered my eyes as I saw only a blanket of white snow and lights blaring around me.

"A hill?" I questioned,being gently puilled down by Justin and then gasped,"Oh gosh"

"Now you remember?" He asked,smiling

"You took me up a hill and kissed me when it was snowing when we were like 12"I said,"It's been 5 years and you decide now to reenact that moment?"

"Well,I wanted to wait for the perfect moment" He said,draping his arm over my shoulder as I shivered,freezing to death almost in my short dress my designer made me wear.

"Do you remember what happened that night?" Justin asked,quietly

"Every second" I said,snuggling in closer to him as I closed my eyes

• Flashback •

"No!" My 12 year old self yelled as Justin chased me up the hill,me in his arms in a second

We collapsed on the hill after he tripped on an unwanted root.I fell ontop of him as snow got all over us.I took his hat away from his head,revealing his dirty blonde hair.

"Aww,you look cute in my hat" He said as I put it on

"Shut up" I said,laughing

We both sat up as a gigantic breeze blew snow in our direction.I laughed as all of it covered Justin's side and some on his hair.

"Thank you for blocking the snow for me" I said,smiling

"Hey,no problem" He said,putting a pile of snow on my head and laughed

"I'm gonna get you for that" I said,punching him on the arm lightly

"Ow,that really hurt me" He said sarcastically,smirking

I punched him really hard the next time,only to have him hold it now.

"Ow,gosh,that really hurt" He said

"Oh my god,I'm so s-" I started but he tackled me in the snow

"Gotcha" He said,smirking

"I hate you" I mumbled,getting off of him

"But you gotta love me" He said,sitting up in our old position as a breeze blew between us

"Gosh,I hate the cold" I mumbled,hugging my jacket

I felt Justin's arm drape over my shoulder as I scooted over next to him.He looked down at me and smiled as I looked back up at him.

"What?" I questioned

He cleared his throat,"Um,nothing"

I nodded,turning back to see the moon being uncovered by the dark clouds to reveal a ton more stars.I smiled,feeling my head being turned to meet caramel brown eyes.

"Now what?" I said,smirking

He took a piece of snow away from my hair as he leaned down.I started freaking out,oh gosh.His lips were laid on mine as I just did my best to go along with it.It felt like forever before we pulled away but I didn't open my eyes yet,only smiled.

A snowball came flying towards our face as I gasped and let my eyes shoot open.

"Nina!" I shouted,rolling up another snowball and threw it at her,only to have it hit her shoulder

"Ha Ha,you guys kissed!You guys kissed!" She singsonged as she yelled

"Shut up,it is midnight,your gonna wake someone or something up" I said

"Oh well,I guess I'll have to leave you two love birds alone then" She said,winking in my direction as she ran down the hill but picked up more speed along the way.

"Weird" Me and Justin said in unison and then laughed

"Have you ever kissed a girl before?" I said,smirking

"Course you would find out but no,you are my first kiss" He said,smiling like an idiot now

I laughed,"Your lucky you stole my first kiss"

"Aw,course I am" He said,wrapping his arm around me

Still I shivered,considering it was like 30 degrees now.Of course,Justin noticed because he also wrapped his jacket around me as I giggled and smiled.I rested my head on his shoulder,staring up at the sky now.

"We were really cute back then" I said,chuckling

"Eh,I wasn't with that haircut" He said,chuckling

I laughed and didn't notice his brown leather jacket was wrapped around me as I smiled at the ground and laid my head on his shoulder.

"I love you" I said,quietly

"I love you too" He said softly,kissing the top of my head before I dozed off in his arms
