Jack and Jill for the 21st century

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water,
To quench their thirst was their wish,
But their wish was slaughtered.

For there was no water in the well,
Not even a drop had dropped,
Because villagers weren't humans,
And all resources at cities stopped.

'There are only dead creatures, snakes and rats and frogs' said Jack,
'With a smile they came to drink
But with a froze frown, they never went back'

No water seeped, no water rained,
And they were dying of their thirst,
Time flew by but no cloud helped,
And finally their patience burst.

'Its all your fault, humans'
said death
with an evil laughter,
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.
