All was quiet in Shell Cottage, Ally, Chris and Lucy had been there for a little while. It was currently going on 1 in the morning and everyone was fast asleep. Well everyone except for the cloaked figure that was silently walking towards the guest room.
The cloaked figure reached forward and opened the door without waking anyone up. Inside the room lay three people sleeping, two girls and one boy. The figure stopped in front of the young woman with black hair pulled into a messy bun on the top of her head.
Reaching forward, the figure touched the tip of their blood red lace covered finger to the young woman's head and a golden light filled the room. Waking the two other people in the room, by the time they looked towards Ally, the cloaked figure was gone.
And Ally Bane did not awake.

I Know, I know! It's really short, but I couldn't think of anything else to put in this chapter. I hoped you enjoyed it none the less.
Here's a little hint about the next chapter, a certain love interest from the first book makes an appearance once more.
