The Dragons Of Draconus (rewrite)

Chapter sixteen

"Christina" a voice called through the darkness.

"Christina" another voice called. A jolt of pain shot through Christina and her eyes shot open as she gasped. Standing over her was Nathan, stardust, and jade.

"About time you woke up" Jordan stated as Christina looked around. All of their team was here.

"Where are we?" Christina questioned.

"Draconus" mark cried happily from storm's back.

"We're really here" Leo chuckled. Christina got up and looked off a near by Cliff. The mountains around and sun risin gave the view a stunning sparkle.

"It's beautiful" storm stated.

"Yep" spitfire agreed.

"We should find someone that can tell us where to go. We don't even know what we're supposed to do" Leo stated.

"Yeah" jade agreed before the riders mounted their dragons. As the dragons went to take off, something shot by them at super speeds. The dragons and kids let out shouts of surprise, but Christina watched closely before it zoomed by again.

"What is it!?" Storm cried.

"It's so fast" Lilly stated.

"Hey, wait!" Christina called as it zoomed by, but it slowed. It came back, but slowed to a stop.

"Wow, this dragon is so cool looking! But not as cool as storm" Mark exclaimed and storm giggled.

"Are those.... Real humans?" The small silver dragon asked. It was a male and he was rather slim, his wings were also a bit small.

"Yes, what's it to you?" Whirlpool asked protectively.

"Whirlpool, calm down" stardust said before meeting the smaller dragons eyes. "I am stardust, and you?"

"They all me SwiftFire" the smaller dragon said timidly.

"A pleasure to meet you" sky stated.

"SwiftFire, would you be kind enough to tell us where we are?" Lilly asked softly.

"The mountains, there's only one pair of mountains in Draconus" SwiftFire stated.

"It's our first time here, we were raised on earth with our humans" spitfire snapped, making SwiftFire flinch, but stardust shifted to stand beside SwiftFire.

"Leave him alone spitfire, he couldn't of known about that...... My apologies, we're all just rather protective of our humans, and spitfire can be an arse sometimes" stardust stated, making Christina and Jordan laugh quietly.

"Stardust, your asking for a tail kicking" spitfire growled.

"Do they always do this?" SwiftFire muttered.

"Yes, they do, and it's funny every time" Christina replied, making SwiftFire jump before looking at her.

"Humans can't understand dragons!" He stated in alarm, making Christina giggle and jump down from stardust's back.

"My names Christina, nice to meet you SwiftFire, and yes. Us six humans can understand dragons, were bonded to these six so we're not normal humans" Christina stated proudly.

"Amazing, that's so cool" SwiftFire stated and Christina smiled.

"What type of dragon are you, SwiftFire?" She asked curiously.

"I myself am a sonic dragon, as we rarely fly and run up to sonic speeds" SwiftFire stated proudly.

"Can you tell us where we can find others? We need to find shelter or something, we've never been on Draconus before" Jade stated honestly. SwiftFire hummed before seeming to smile.

"Come on, I'll show you the city the royalty live in, it's a great place" SwiftFire stated. "But I'd hide your humans, most dragons hate them"

"Thanks for the warning"
