Thank you siir, I will be hearing from you then. I told the man that intrviewed me.

I stood up and walked out of the office. I was looking everywhere. Trying to take in everything. I noticed that the workers are not chatting  with each other anymore. I was walking to the entrance when I bumped into someone. I stumbled a little and regained my balance.

Are you blind? Cant you see where you are going?

I flinched not used to being shouted at. I slowly raised my head to see who it was. He was very handsome. Tall and handsome. But girl, he was  not happy. He was scowling at me and that was when I realised why. I spilled coffee on his  -no doubt- expensive suit.

Oh ya rabbi! I'm very sorry sir I wasnt looking where I was going.

Just shut up you clumsy girl. Get out of my sight. He pushed me and went  to the elevator.

It was now I  noticed the employees were all looking at me. I felt so embarassed I ran out of the building. As soon  as I was in the car I let the tears fall.

At home I told ummee and Abba everything that happened Abba warned me to be careful.

I could  not sleep at  night I kept thinking of how I can work under people like that man.

The  next day I decided to visit my best friend Amal.

Salam Alaikum. I said as I entered the house. Oyoyo aunty A! oyoyo! I heard Ramlah before she came out and jumped on me.

Hey beauty, how is you? I asked her pinching her cheeks. She is Amal's baby sister, she is eight years old but  when  she does somethng you will  not believe she is a girl of eight years.

Aiiiirah!!!!!!!! Came another voice before  I  was tackled to the ground. Remind me why she is my best friend.

I missed you so  much. And akwai Labari  fah. She told me as we headed to her room after I greeted hajiya, her mom.

Some people are just rude and cruel. Dont mind the banza. I just hope you wont come across him again. I even pray he should be fired.

You said akwai labari, what is it? I asked Amal who broke into a very wide grin. From that I know whatever it was I'm not gonna like  t.

Guess who I saw yesterday. She was still grining widely. I rolled my eyes at her.

Oho, just tell me kawai.

She pouted before clapping her hands excitedly.

Well, I saw Jabir, and he told me to say  hy to you and he collected your  number.

Had it been Amal is not my best friend I would have slapped the living day light out of her. Jabir used to be my friend, a close one we even liked each other. We kept it a secret though. Amal suspected us but she wasn't sure. My problem with Jabir was that he likes body contact while I dont. So when I confronted him and he told me to stop being a fool and that its a  normal thing it shows we are literates. I lost it and slapped him and told him to leave me alone. When  Amal asked me about him I  told her I don't see him anymore. Which was partially true since after that day I've not seen or heard from him until now.

I just fake smiled saying really, where?

A inda nayi interview (where I went for interview). But he isn't workng there.

I just wanted the topic to die down. So I told her I will be going home. She begged me  to say longer but I refused. I just wanted to  go home and sleep everything off.

I didn't get to sleep due to excitement when I reached home. I met a very good news. I got employed at RK group of companes. I was so excited and happy. I couldnt wait to start working. Luckily for me I would start on Monday, which was 2 days from today. I can't wait.

AREEF

I had a guest waiting for me in my office, I hate waiting so I also don't like to keep people waiting. I pushed the door of the building open and walked I in. I did not go far when  I  felt myself collide with Something or someone then I felt somethng hot on my chest. The coffee I was holding had spilled, no poured on me. I winced internally then looked at the person In front of me. She was trying to steady herself. I hate clumsy people.

Are you blind? Can't you see where you are going.

She hasn't even looked up yet. She slowly raised her  head and then her eyes widened.

Oh ya rabbi! I'm very sorry sir I wasnt looking where I was going.

Remembering I had people waiting for me, I decided to let it slide. So I pushed her out of  my way .

Just shut up you clumsy girl. Get out of my sight.

I headed straight for my office. What I saw pissed me off even more. My guest was out of  my office already and he had an unpleasant look on his face. My secretary was somewhat pleading with him. I reached them and extended my hands for Mr. Nelson to shake.

Mr.  Nelson, I must apologise for  keeping you waiting but I assure you It wasn't intentional I was stuck in a traffic, you kow very well how I hate disregarding time.

Well if you really had wanted the deal you would  not have kept me waiting for an hour. I'm afraid I can't do business with you. Now if you will excuse me Mr. Kaseem.

He walked pass me like I was some  nobody. I looked at my secretary who was literally shakng.

You are Fired!! I said then walked out of the hallway.

At this moment all I can think about is finding that clumsy girl that wasted my time and destroying her.

I can't wait to find her.
