It was a Wednesday evening. The Ahmad's home was already filled with family from all over the country. The wedding would kick off tomorrow and almost everything has been prepared.

Almost. Knowing how wedding are one can never be 100 percent prepared. So the house was in chaos when Deedee came to pick Airah and her small group of friends over to her house as that's where they will be staying till the wedding was over.

"Airah when will you go to pick up the clothes. I clearly told you to warn that your lazy tailor to not disappoint. If he doesn't bring those clothes today he'll see my other side. I don't know why tailors never fail to disappoint you. It's like they derive pleasure from it!" Ummee was really pissed off.

Airah too was not happy about it but she was nowhere as pissed as her mother. So she knowing better she didn't say a word to Ummee as she sprinted to her room to see if Amal and the rest are ready.

Their suitcases where all by the door as they tied their turbans. Airah rolled her eyes. "Seriously girls? We are not going for any event right now. Why waste time tying those." she said motioning to their heads.

Her friends which consisted of Amal, Falmah, Hadiza(a friend she met at the hospital), Zeenah, Fareedah and hajjoh (who were her school friends) all looked at her as she carried a small Black Veil and wrapped it around her head while she was wearing a black jilbaab.

"As far as I know Mr. CEO is alive and well so I can't seem to figure out why you are dressed in black. " Amal spat out as the rest burst out laughing.

Airah gave them the stink eye before rolling her eyes at them and grabbing her own suit case.

"Where are you going? " Hadiza asked her.

" To the car. Deedee is already waiting for us. So if you guys wish to go now better carry your turban tying asses downstairs." she didn't even know where her words came from. All she knows is that she's very stressed and can't wait to take a hot bath and sleep off.

As soon as she was outside one of her cousins helped her with the suitcase and put it in the booth of Deedee's Mini van.

A few minutes later the rest were out too. They loaded up their baggage and hopped in the car.

Deedee and the girls conversed all the while Airah was quiet. She hasn't said a single word since she got in the car. Deedee let her be because she knows exactly how she is feeling as she was in her shoes years back. Wedding especially your own is very stressful.

They had to branch to the Tailor's and luckily for them or for him rather he was done just a minute before they arrived.

Airah was too stressed to say anything to him but Amal didn't waste any time  in giving her a piece of her mind.

As soon as they arrived Deedee asked them to not bother about the suitcases as they would be brought to their room.

As soon as they entered the house they was a loud bang and the light was turned on to reveal Anty Rhabi and the kids (Eeman, Ramla, Aman, Aisar and the twins).

Airah was really surprised. Anyone throwing her a surprise bridal shower was the last thing on her mind. She looked at Deedee and her friends and just like that she broke into a sob.

They were quick to hug her and soon everyone in the room were hugging her.

She calmed down after a while and they ate, talked, joked, danced and so many other things. Their little event surprisingly relieved Airah a lot of her stress though not all but she felt lighter.
