Frightened little Fox

June's Pov

Waking up I felt like I was laying in a warm fluffy cloud. I snuggled into the warmth before snapping my eyes open. Realizing I wasn't in my basement room I was on a huge soft bed covered with a thick soft blanket. I sat up to look around to see where I was it was a huge room with a smooth wooden dresser in front of the bed with a large flat screen tv above it. Dark wooden small tables on either side the bed and 2 large doors on one side the room, another door on the other side and another separated by medium side dresser. The walls were a dark navy blue with a mirror above the medium dresser.

I stared around the room getting more nervous I didn't know where I was or how I got here. My head and body were sore I reached my side to rub my left side. That's when I felt the bandage wrapped around me. Tracing my fingers over it I tried to remember what happened. My head started pounding trying to think. Memories started flooding back to me.

The female wolves were beating me when there was an invasion from another pack. I fell asleep for a while then I was waking up by someone moving my blanket. There were 4 strange men I didn't recognize but the one kneeling to me was very handsome and smelled nice like after a thunderstorm storm fresh air smell. I was scared they would hurt me but everyone gave me nice smiles and Silver (my fox) said it seemed ok. So I went with them the nice man carried me past the pack and they growled at me and he yelled it scared me to so I passed out again.

I looked around the room again and came with the conclusion that it was the man who carried me room. It smelled like him. My thoughts were interrupted by the 2 large doors cracking open. The man that carried me came in with a tray of food and what looked like medicine and a glass of water. He quickly shut the door and came over to me setting the tray on my lap. "I thought you might be hungry when you woke up and I brought you some medicine for the pain." He spoke gently trying not to scare me. I looked at the tray it was a bowl of chicken soup with a tiny plate of cut up apples peeled to look like rabbits. "My name is Austin I'm the Alpha of this pack which you will now be a part of." He spoke again and I looked up at him with wide eyes.

He is an Alpha?! And I'm going be part of his pack now?! My head started pounding again so I raised my hand to my forehead. I felt a strong large hand placed on my back rubbing softly up and down. I looked up to see Austin looking very worried. "Here take this it will help." He said handing me some pills and the glass of water. I took a sip of water and slipped the pill in my mouth swallowing. "It should take a min but you will feel better soon." He said again rubbing my back. I simply nodded trying not to move to much cus the pain. I felt Austin shift slightly. I looked up at him he was holding out a spoonful soup to my lips. Hesitantly I took the spoon into my mouth. I let him fed me the rest the soup till it was gone. I couldn't remember the last time I ate something that wasn't stale bread. My tummy was warm and full making me happy. I looked up at Austin he was smiling at me and I couldn't help but smile back.

Silver was starting to stir cus she had been suppressed for so long it took her longer to wake up. She was getting a little wild after taking in the smell around us. She started to growl and chanting taking me by surprise staring at Austin. I echoed back the word to silver what she was chanting. "Mate?" Austin must notice my facial expression. Ok, he noticed, his an alpha he probably can notice the tiniest change in anyone.  He leaned in his eyes flickering from his normal brown to goldish red. "Yes, little one we are mates. Your my mate and I'll take care of you from now on." He whispered in a husky voice. I couldn't help the blush that crept over my cheeks from his voice. He chuckled lightly picking the tray back up.

He seemed to mindlink someone cus his eyes glazed over for a second then there was a knock on the door. Austin brought the tray to the door and someone took it. He came back over to me and pulled the blanket off. "Ok little fox lets get to cleaned up then you can get some more rest." He picked me up gently and walked to the right door. Opening it up there was a huge bathtub, a stand-up shower, double sink, and a toilet. He sat me on the toilet and turned around to get the tub ready. "Get undressed while I get this ready." He said simply. I stood up and slid the dirty rag of a shirt over me and slide off my panties. I was wearing nothing else cus of what happened before the girls and invasion. I stood there awkwardly trying to cover myself with my thin arms. Austin turned back to me and gave me a sad smile lifting my chin up to look in his eyes. "You don't need to hide from me little mate, you will always be beautiful to me no matter what you or anyone says about you understand?" I blush more and nodded. He smiled grew and kissed my forehead. "Now lets get you clean." He sat me on the tub edge and grab a washcloth to wipe me down. I couldn't get in cus the bandages on my ribs. Austin told me about my injuries while cleaning my body. I had 2 broken ribs and a slight mild conscious. Silver whimpered at the list of injuries, we both hissed when he touched bruises and cuts. Which seemed to be every inch of our body. Austin gently tilted my head back to shampoo and condition my hair. It took an extra min cus how long it was.

After I was clean he wrapped me in a soft warm towel walking me in the door next door. It was a large walk-in closet one side had what looked like his clothes the other side it is empty. Austin walked us over to some drawers and pulled out a large white t-shirt and blue boxers. "We don't have any clothes for you yet but we will get some tomorrow this should do for now." He hands me the clothes and started to walk out. I whimper and grabbed his arm. He looked shocked and confused for a moment then the realization came to his face. "Do you want me to help you dress?" I blushed again and slowly nodded. I realized getting undressed hurt my ribs bending over. I just want help and I couldn't help but be a little selfish and spoiled around him. He just chuckled and said alright. He helped me get dressed and picked me up again gently.

He laid me back in the bed tucking me in. He went to one the dressers and pulled out some black sweats and disappeared into the closest. He came back out with the black sweats on and a t-shirt. He climbed into bed next to me and kissed my temple. "How about some tv before bed." He asked reaching for the remote turning the tv on. He flipped through the channels until I saw an image of a girl singing with a boat and pig. I squealed in disapproval when he flipped past it. He raised an eyebrow at me and I pouted back at him. He flipped back through the channels till I saw the girl again and squealed again pointing at the tv. He chuckled and said, "ok Moana it is then." He snuggled next to me and I snuggled back. Halfway through my eyes felt heavy as I fell back to sleep.
