...

Rose threw some books into her locker and grabbed a few others in return shoving them in her bag. Rose let out a sigh. Her days were becoming too routine- she wanted some excitement that didn't include her and her brother consistently fighting.

"I'm so sorry about the other day. I'm trying. We'll get through this. Uh...I know, because I love you. I love you more than- oh my god. I can't. You and Allison just have to find a better way to communicate." Rose overheard Stiles from a few lockers down. Rose softly chuckled to herself.

"Come on, you are one of the few people that we can trust. Is she coming to the game tonight?" Rose heard Scott speak.

"Yes! Okay, message complete, now tell me about your boss?" Stiles spoke, while Rose still eavesdropped.

She shut her locker and walked over toward the two boys while they continued to talk.

"He thinks that Allison's family keeps some kind of, uh, records of all the things that they've haunted. Like a book."

"The bestiary." Rose said from behind Stiles causing him to jump and flail his arms in fright.

"Don't do that!" Stiles exclaimed pointing a finger sternly at Rose.

Rose just giggled and rolled her eyes at his frazzled state.

"I think you mean the bestiality." Scott said referring to what Rose had told them.

"Nope, I don't think I do," Rose shook her head, "It's like an encyclopedia of mythical creatures."

"Okay, how do you know this and I don't?" Scott blinked a few times, completely perplexed.

"I've been a werewolf for my entire life, McCall. You've been a werewolf for what? Two weeks?" Rose teased.

"Okay, more like a month and a half, Hale." Scott rolled his eyes.

"Alright, so we just have to find this book and it can tell us what this thing is-"

"Wait...what thing?" Rose inquired.

"She doesn't know?" Scott looked over at Stiles.

"I guess not."

"What don't I know?" Rose asked again.

"There's this Lizard-thing that has been terrorizing the town, ya know and killing people...to death." Stiles explained vaguely and Rose's eyes widened in fear and worry.

"If you're calling it the "lizard-thing" then we definitely need to find this book." Rose nodded with urgency, realizing the direness of this situation.

"Hell yeah we do!" Stiles agreed, "We should probably go talk to Allison about it-"

"Oh I can't help too much with that," Rose interrupted shaking my head. She always seemed to get uneasy whenever Allison, or any Argent was mentioned.
