Chapter 23

Namikaze naoki vs dosu kinuta

"Finally.. i was sick of waiting.." Naoki cheered

"Don't let him beat you" sakura added concerned

Kakashi gave her a thumbs up and naoki moved to the middle ground.

"Well then.. Begin" Hayato announced

Nobody believed she would win this. Normally Naoki would've doubted herself but because her opponent was the same guy that was being cocky in the forest, she felt like she could channel out her frustration from then.

She moved to the middle and dosu did the same

"This must be a sign, to be facing each other so soon" dosu said arrogantly and confident

Naoki couldn't smile at all, she was being underestimated..

"Too bad I'll finish this up quickly" dosu said

"... you shouldn't underestimate someone you've never seem fight, ya know" naoki said calm and collected unlike her usual self

The two of them stood in a fighting stance with at least a few meters distance between them.

Naoki didn't know much about his way of fighting, but obviously she knew it had to do with sound. She observed him closely and noticed weird things on his arm..

Dosu made the first move by coming in close for a punch. Naoki dodged the punched and charged right after dodging.. but she felt herself getting weird and instead of punching him she touched him slightly and unnoticeable.

The two moved from each other after that and naoki fell onto one knee, she couched up some blood but nothing too serious.

She wiped off the lingering blood on the corner of her mouth and stood up on her two legs.

Tch, I can't hear anything but ringing.. what a troublesome technique.. she thought

"Oh? You're standing up after that?" He said amused "but I don't think you can stand after another one" he said making his second move

Naoki pulled out multiple kunais, throwing them in multiple directions. She figured that the sound waves would hit her even without directly touching her.

She successfully evaded the attack by teleporting to one of the many kunais. Many people that knew naoki were shocked.. especially the ones that didn't know what Naoki was capable of.

That's naoki?! Kuranai thought

What did kakashi do?! Asuma thought

How did the good for nothing naoki turn into a s-rank ninjutsu user?! The both of them thought

"Whatever-you-name-is, I'll warn you.. if you don't pull back here.. you'll end up half dead.. if lucky.." she whispered the last part

Dosu didn't take the threat serious and didn't plan on giving up.

Next naoki was about to use a technique she invented herself. It was simple yet powerful

The needed hand seals were Tiger → Dog → Bird → Ram. But she already mastered her own technique so she didn't need them.

"Suiton: Sakuretsu kocho"
