[#66: Big Trouble Part 2]

You were finally ungrounded for slapping Garnet across the face, but you were still angry at the fusion. You refused to speak to her, only turning away and crossing your arms when she talked to you.

It crushed her metaphorical heart, to say the least, to see you treating her like this. She didn't like to see you upset, but she wasn't sorry about grounding you. She kept attempting to get you to talk, but you wouldn't budge.

One day, you and her were alone in the Temple. Steven was out with Connie, Pearl was dancing gracefully in her room, and Amethyst... well, she was just being Amethyst. Probably stuffing her face with garbage in her room.

You sat on the couch next to Garnet, faced away from her. The fusion had never seen you so determined to not talk-- you usually would talk nonstop about anything and everything.

"Hey, (Y/N)," Garnet began, nudging you with her elbow. You grunted and pulled away, pushing yourself further into the side of the couch. Garnet sighed and rubbed her chin in thought.

Her lips upturned into a sly smirk when an idea popped into her head. She sneakily reached her arms out towards you and suddenly began to tickle your sides-- you were extremely ticklish there.

You couldn't help but react, laughing loudly and kicking your feet and thrashing your arms around. You begged for her to stop, attempting to crawl out of her hands but failing because of her inhuman strength.

"G-Garnet, stop it!" you shouted, trying to pull a frown. She found it adorable and did as she was told, but still had her arms wrapped around you. You pouted, grunting as you pushed at her arms to unlatch them. It didn't work.

"Garnet, let me go! I don't like you, remember?" you said, finally stopping your attempt to get her to let go of you. She shook her head and placed her chin on the top of your head. You groaned, "Why not?"

"I don't want to. You're so cute," she told you, suddenly changing your position so that you were cradled in her arms like a baby. She giggled at your adorable, pouting face.

She stuck her tongue out at you, quickly pulling it back in. You couldn't help but crack a smile, forcing your lips downward afterwards. Garnet stuck her tongue out again and blew raspberries at you.

You giggled, pushing her cheek away with your hand. She blew harder, only making you laugh louder. You squished her cheeks in your hands, forcing her to stop. You smiled at her, "Fine, I guess I do like you."

She chuckled and poked your nose playfully. You swatted her hand away, trying to act mad. She giggled, "You love me, my little Lovebug." You shook your head, "No way!"

She kissed your cheek, "Yes you do. You can't deny it." You quickly snatched her visors off and placed them over your eyes, giggling. You copied her recent move, blowing raspberries at her. She did the same.

"You look so cute with my visors on, Lovebug," she told you, chuckling. You stuck your tongue out at her and took the visors off, placing them back over her eyes.

"Love you, Garnet," you told her in a sing-song voice, wrapping your arms around her neck and hugging her. She hugged you back, smiling victoriously.

"Love you, too, Cutie-pie."
