ANGEL WATCHING OVER ME
I know you are there watching keenly from above
I feel the gentle touch of your wings like a glove
Like a lovers first kiss against my feeble mortal skin
While the restless wind carries a whisper within
Endearments shared, so preciously rare, sent from my Angel and heaven above
The comfort of knowing you're somewhere unseen
Still loving and caring though death forced us apart
A blessing so touching, it soothes my broken heart
I know you are with me, and I don’t stand alone,
No matter what life’s battles bring, you’ll be there at my side
My guardian Angel, ethereal mentor from the stars
A subtle director, of inspiration and of hope
You are my treasured shadow, my keepsake, and my charm
I trust you with my life and limbs, my loving chaperone
I know you’re watching over me, protecting me from harm
And I am sheltered by your love, whenever and wherever I chose to roam.
