The same evening

We were in studio, boys were to their some recording sessions me and Alex were in office

"Okay! I have compiled up these files, now better check this again for records sake" I said to Alex placing the files on the table which I've been compiling from hour or two, finding Alex paying no attention to me
while she was checking out bill records

"Alex! Can you check its context again?" I asked her again while sitting on the chair, but she was still completely lost in her thoughts, but I waited for her that maybe she notices

"Okay!! What's going on with you?" I knocked on the table while she was checking bills on the other side of the table, she looked up

"Oh! I'm so sorry, what did you just, ... Um! .. I just couldn't get what were you saying" she slapped her head, looking straight in my eyes.

"Yeah! That's because you weren't here, you were in your train of thoughts to somewhere" I narrowed my eyes at her, because I knew something was definitely bothering her

"Um! No!" She laughed and I raised my eyebrows, and she looked down at her feet
"Okay!! I'll tell you" she surrendered

"Okay!! First of all sit down, stay calm now explain" i asked her to sit down first, she sat down on the chair near me

"Um! Its about James, Something's going on with him, he's been so strange nowadays, he doesn't joke around like usually now, maybe something's bothering him" she was rubbing her hands

"Did you talk to him? You should ask him what's going on with him" I held her hand

" he's not sharing with me anything nowadays, I share each and every detail with him about my day but he's.. *sighs*" she placed her hand under her chin

"Maybe he's worried about work,.. In fact we met him today in Starbucks, he was there for some meeting, and I found him acting strange too" I said, causing her eyes to go wide open

"You met him today? What kind of meeting?.. Gosh! See he don't tell me anything,.. I'm so worried" she covered her face with her palms

"Alex! He's just worried about his work and nothing else I can tell, .. Don't worry everything's gonna be fine" I placed my hand on her shoulder

"You think? I hope you are right"

"Yea! You're just over thinking I guess"

"Maybe yes, I'm over thinking" she sighed and hugged me,
"Seriously jas! I'm feeling much light, I've been thinking about him all day , thank you jas"

"No need of any thank you dear" I patted her back

"Oi oi, looks like best friends are having their time aye!!?" Louis interrupted from behind, with the boys coming in the office altogether

"Yeah!! We were gossiping about you" Alex scrunched her nose playfully

"Whatever!!" Louis rolled his eyes playfully and slapped her head

"Lou-eeh" she shrieked

"Okay! Guys!! Harry's and Jasmin's anniversary is coming up next week, so we're throwing party in the hotel" Liam said smilingly

"Omg!! Thank you guys" my eyes filled with tears

"Girl! Control your hormones" Alex slapped my arm

"Means so much" harry placed his hand on his chest and came near to me

"Third anniversary" I whispered

"But still feels like the first day" harry kissed me on forehead and hugged me tightly

"Come on guys!! ..group hug" Niall screamed at the top of his lungs and we did group hug

I know its a short update, but I have exams going on, I promised myself that I'll focus on study until this week but here I am writing the chapter,
