Gerard's POV
I did as Frank told me and sprinted to his car. I was breathing so heavily, I thought I was going to pass out. A familiar question echoed through my head.
Who called the police?
Frank pressed on the gas, and soon enough we were leaving Belleville
"What do we do know, Frankie? Where do we go?" I asked, and Frank looked at me.
"I don't know. We'll just have to see where life takes us now." He said, and I felt tears fill my eyes.
"W-what's the point anymore? Frank? Why even bother!?" I exclaimed through tears. Frank stopped at a traffic light, leaned over, and gave me a kiss on the lips.
Then, I knew I would be safe...
