Chapter 41: Show Time

One week later...

"You ready?" Pam asked, as I readied myself in the van parked outside Gotham City National Bank.

"Yeah." I responded, getting my gun.

"Ok, it's all set. Perimeter is clear." Harley said through my earpiece, surveying from van number two a street down. I nodded, and took a deep breath.

"Wish him death." I said happily as I smirked.  I exited the van casually and began walking up to the bank. I placed my finger on my earpiece and contacted J.

"I'm going in." I said.

"Ok, now remember doll you're the bait. Leave the rest to me." J said,  with a low voice.

"I know. Are you still behind the building?"

"Now I am. I don't appreciate when you change plan last minute."

"Sorry daddy." I smirked. "When I leave you come to the front ok."

"Don't be a tease pumpkin, and of course." He responded, as I took my finger off the earpiece; walking inside.

"Ahh, good to be back! Remember me!?" I yelled, as I shot randomly into the crowd of people. Blood spilling onto the floor as people fell to the ground.

Selina's POV 

"She started. He should be here soon." I said to Pam, as I looked at the bank. I heard numerous gunshots, and I saw the small light the gun gave off when a bullet was shot.

"No shit." She responded, looking with wide eyes at the bank.

Y/N's POV

"COME ON!! YOU KNOW YOU WANT ME! PUT ME WHERE I BELONG!! HAHA!!" I yelled, continuing to shower the first floor with bullets. I saw the bank camera in the corner,  and began to walk over to it. Shooting a man, and stepping over bodies as I do so. I made it to the camera, and looked at it directly. 

"Bats, you got 10 minutes before I light this bank on fire. Time starts now, chop chop." I said, shooting the camera. Glass flying everywhere as I looked back.

Eight mins passed by as I emptied my bullets into other people's heads, waiting on his arrival. Suddenly, my earpiece went off,  and I answered it. 

"Yeah?"

"He's coming. Get outta there." Harley said, as I looked out to the front door. I saw headlights coming fast down the street. I ran to the back door, and escaped the bank. I didn't see J's car, so he must've been informed already. I ran down the street to get to van number two, but I looked back when I heard wheels screech against the tar. I regained focus, and looked in front of me again, only to be facing the man that I thought I killed.

"Long time no see." The penguin said,  lifting a gun; aiming it between my eyes.

Joker's POV

I began to drive to the front of the bank using side streets when Selina informed me that Bats was coming. Making sure I wouldn't be seen, I turned off my headlights. As I got closer, I saw his Batmobile parked in front. The van was gone, so I took that spot, an exited the car.

I went to the entrance, and began to clap. Show time.

"Bats, or should I say Mr. Wayne. Pleasure to have ya here." I said, giving my famous grin as he turned to face me.

"Stop this MADNESS! You and Kira has done enough damage to this city!" Bats yelled, coming closer to me.

"Now now, lets be civilized about this." I rose my hands up, and smiled. "I really don't want to do this... But ya know I thought what the hell. Let's have some fun." I pulled out my gun,  when suddenly Y/N was pushed into the building by the man I thought to be dead.

"Your right. Lets have some fun shall we!?" The penguin said, as he picked her up and placed his gun on her temple. "Is that guy bothering you?" He asked Batman, referring to me as I looked with fire in my eyes.

"It never had to be this way Joker. You made this happen to yourself." Penguin spoke, as Batman quickly swatted my gun away. It flew across the room, as Batman raised his fists to fight. I blocked his punches, and fought back, as I tried to get my gun. I ran over quickly to get it until I fell down with a sharp pain in my leg. Y/N screamed, as I looked down to see a knife in my leg.

Y/N's POV

I screamed when Batman threw a knife at J's leg, causing him to fall onto the blood stained floor.

"Stop!" I yelled.

"Shut up bitch!" Penguin yelled,  jamming the gun on my head. My blood boiled, and I quickly turned around and roundhouse kicked him, making him drop his gun. I bent down to get it, only to be greeted with a boot in the face. I yelled in pain, but fought back. I exchanged punches with him, then took out my small knife; cutting his cheek as I ran to grab the gun.

I grabbed it, and ran over to him to protect him. Batman ran over and I rose the gun.

"Get back." I said, with a stern look. He just stood there, and stared at me. I cocked the gun, and held it steady.

"Put it down." He ordered, but I didn't listen.

Bang

Bang

Bang

I shot him three times, as I watched his body fall to the floor. When he fell,  Penguin was standing behind him with a gun in hand.

Bang

I heard the gunshot go off from his gun, and I felt a pain in my chest. There was a bullet in my chest, and blood coming out heavily. I fell back,  hitting my head on the floor as I heard J screaming out.

"NOO!!" He yelled, as my vision became blurry.

Joker's POV

I yelled as Penguin shot Y/N. I looked at her body as she fell back. A tear escaped my eyes as I observed her blood on the floor.

"Your turn." Penguin said, aiming the gun towards me. I stared him down.

"Do it." I said. He looked at me with a smile. Penguin pulled the trigger, and a click sounded. He was out of bullets.  I laughed, and quickly grabbed the gun that Y/N had, an pointed it at him.

"Nice try, but it's your turn." I said,  pulling the trigger.

Bang

I shot him right between the eyes. His body fell to the floor next to Batman's body. Tears continued to flow as I looked back and slid over to Y/N who was still bleeding badly.

"Baby stay with me." I managed to say through my tears as Selina, and Pam came bursting through the door.
