~•Chapter 4: Dress Shopping•~

I wake up to the sound of someone knocking on my door. I groan and roll over on my stomach.

"Your highness, may I come in?"

It is a lady's voice, sweet, nervous and quiet. I sit up in bed and rub my eyes. Did she just say 'your highness'?

"Ya come in."

The door opens a bit, then swings open fully. A maid walks in wearing usual maid clothes. A black dress and a white apron on top. She is also wearing a black and white hat on her wavy light brown hair, which is neatly tied up in a bun.

She walks towards the bed with a silver tray. She puts it on the bed and looks down on the floor.

"This is for you, your highness."

I stare at her, but she keeps looking down. She isn't even keeping eye contact with me.

"Um....why are you calling me your highness?"

The maid looks up, scared and nervous.

"I-I umm.....Sir William said so. You are his future wife."

I basically feel like vomiting all over my breakfast.

"I don't want to be. And please don't call me your highness, call me Grace. What's your name?"

She stares at me, completely shocked. I guess the vampires don't ask nice questions like this.

"I umm....my name is Amelia."

"That's a beautiful name. You don't have to act nervous around me. I won't get mad at you or something."

Amelia smiles and her blueish-grey eyes light up.

"Thank you your high-I mean Grace. Before I go, Sir William said to quickly finish breakfast so you can go dress shopping."

Oh god! No I don't want to go buy and try on wedding dresses. I sigh and plaster a fake smile on my face.

"Thanks Amelia, are you coming with me?"

"Sorry Grace, us maids can't leave the house."

I stare in shock at Amelia. The maids can't leave the house?

"Quickly eat breakfast, you don't want Sir William mad."

And at that, Amelia smiles and leaves me. I stare at the steaming breakfast, and quickly eat.

When I am ready, I hear someone knock and open the door.

"Are you ready?"

I look at the door and see Ethan standing there. His usual hair is perfectly placed, but some hairs in the back are poking out. I smile, it looks cute.

"I am ready, but I don't want to go."

Ethan fully steps into the room. He smiles and looks at me.

"Don't worry, I'll talk to my dad about you two getting married. I'll try to change his mind. But for now, you're gonna have to go with it."

"Okay, are you coming?" A bit of excitement leaps into my body.

"Yes, me and my brothers wife. She's not that older then you, maybe about 18."

I was gonna ask why she got married so early, when I realize we are getting late. I walk towards the door, then me and Ethan walk down the stairs and to the front door. When we get there, I see a beautiful girl with glowing green eyes, and light blonde hair.
