Recap•
Grace's POV

My veins start to burn like they are on fire. My stomach feels like it's in knots.

I'm hungry.

Just then a human comes walking in the alley. Her head is down, and she has ear buds in her ears. She has a hood over her head, covering her face. She walks towards me, not realizing I'm there.

Suddenly I feel my fangs start to come out.

Oh no! No no no!

The girl looks up at me and she sees my fangs, she looks at them in horror. She slowly starts to walk back when suddenly my body takes over. I grab her with my strength and I pull her hood down.

The girl starts to scream as I sink my fangs into her neck.

Now•

The earth slowly drowns away, and all that is left is me and the human girl I'm feeding off of.

The feeling of the blood gushing into my mouth feels amazing. My veins starts to hum with excitement. The human girls body starts to go limp under my grasp.

I feel some blood trickle down my chin, as I start to feel alive. I feel like an animal, an animal that's wild and dangerous. An animal that's on the lose and out of control.

The feeling starts to consume me, this is the best feeling ever. My heart starts to race. I want to keep going, but I feel a firm grip grab my shoulders and throw me off the girl.

I whip my head around to attack the intruder, when I see Ethan standing with an angry and worried look.

"What are you doing?" Ethan asks in astonishment.

I lick the fresh blood off my chin, and my fangs retract. I look to the side to see the girl on the floor, her arms in a awkward position. Her face is completely pale and her lips blue.

"I-uh....." I start to say.

"Forget it, I can clearly see what's going on." Ethan walks towards the girl and feels for her pulse. He looks at me with a sad and angry look.

"She's dead isn't she?" I ask. Now that I stop feeding, my heart beat starts to slow and the humming in my veins stops. I start to feel a headache coming along and instead of feeling alive, the emotion is replaced with grief towards the girl and anger towards myself.

Ethan just looks at me, and I know that that means she's dead. Ethan picks up the girl and takes her towards the big garbage bin.

"You're putting her in a garbage bin?" I ask in disbelief.

"Do you have any other ideas?" Ethan asks not so nicely.

Ethan walks towards the bin and gently puts the girl inside. He closes the lid on top and looks at me.

I feel tears in my eyes. "I'm really sorry I know that was stupid and reckless. I feel terrible now, and this is a burden I'm gonna have to carry my whole life. I was really hungry and she just ca-" I burst out crying, tears streaming down my face as I slide to the ground.

Ethan runs towards me and kneels down to hug me. I feel his warm arms wrap around me. Ethan sighs, "The same exact thing happened to me too. I didn't feed in a while, and I thought I was okay. But I thought wrong. A human came and I drained the humans blood. Sad part is I didn't even know how the person looked."

I lift my head up and stare at Ethan's light baby blue eyes. He stares back at me and he gently wipes the tears away.

I lean in and we kiss, just a brush of lips. But then it gets a bit deeper, next thing you know the back door opens. Ethan and I leap away from each other as Drew opens the door. Drew stares at us, giving us a weird look.
