My mind goes completely still, all I can think about is my new fiancé.

"What?" I ask Cameron in complete shock.

He walks forward gracefully, but not like Ethan. Ethan walks with a gentle and kind grace. Cameron walks like he's the best, and his eyes are a icy, cold blue. But Ethan's are a light baby blue color.

"I'm your new fiancé. Sir William thinks that he's to old. So he chose me, thanks to Ethan over here."

I look at Ethan, and his eyes are filled with rage.

"I didn't want her to marry you!" Ethan spits out at Cameron.

Cameron smiles menacingly at Ethan.

"Dimitri's right, you do like Grace don't you? You want to marry her."

Ethan stands up and in a flash, Ethan has Cameron on the wall and he's choking him.

"W-would you r-really choke y-our brother?" Cameron chokes out.

Ethan hesitates, then lets go of him. Cameron rubs his sore neck. Then he looks back at me in my bed, he takes one look then leaves.

Ethan breathes out a sigh and sits back down on the chair.

"Sorry, this is my fault. I told my dad that you couldn't marry him. I didn't think he was gonna say Cameron. He's cruel and selfish just like my dad. He's a murderer and I don't want him to hurt you."

I look up at Ethan, and he grabs the cloth on my forehead and soaks it with cool water. He then pushes my reddish-brown hair back, then puts the cloth on my forehead.

"Why are you so kind? You're dad and brother are so cruel, but you?" I stare into his light blue eyes.

"When my mom was alive, she used to be really kind and gentle. But one day a human killed her. My dad got so angry that he started to kill every human he saw. I see humans differently. Not all humans are like the one that killed my mom. And I see something different in you too."

"What do you see?" I whisper.

"I see a nice, brave and beautiful girl. You'll do anything for your loved ones even if it means you have to sacrifice your own life. You're not scared of anything, even vampires or werewolfs."

It takes me a while to grasp all of what Ethan just said. He starts to lean in and I lean in myself. His soft and delicate lips touch my cheek. He kisses my cheek and leans back, looking deep into my green eyes.

"I'll figure something out for you and Cameron. I'll do something about that, don't worry."

I nod my head meaning okay. He gets up and goes to the closet. He takes out a red dress. It's one of the ones I got at the dress shop. Ethan approved that dress for me. He puts it on the bed.

"Get dressed and I'll be just outside."

He walks away and closes the door. I can't help but smile at the kiss on my cheek. I think while I put the dress on, I feel like I know Ethan so well even though I met him not long ago. But when I'm near him, it's like nothing I have felt before. All the fear and anger toward his dad all goes away when I see him.

I comb my hair quickly and walk out the door. Ethan takes one look at me and smiles.

"You ready?" He asks

"Ready for what?"

He smiles. "I'm taking you somewhere special."

He holds my hand and we walk down the corridor. We get to a door and he opens it. We walk in and lets go of my hand and he closes the door. I look around and realize that it's Ethan's room. There's a bunch of pictures of him and his mom on the drawers.
