"Sorry but I'm not going to become the next boss." Tsuna deadpanned.
Reborn's hand twitched for his gun.
"What do you mean, Dame-Tsuna?"
Tsuna sighed. "I said, I don't want to become the Decimo, Reborn."
"That's non-negotiable." Reborn countered.
"Look, how about this, I can make the ring to accept Xanxus so we can just let him be the next Vongola." Tsuna offered.
"...how do you know about Xanxus?" Reborn questioned tensely.
"Shit," Tsuna muttered.
"Kufufufu~ that's because I told him about it." Mukuro answered as he solidified into existence.
Immediately, a gun was pointed towards him. "Mukuro." Reborn's tone was flat and cold as he greeted the illusionist.
"Hello, Arcobaleno."
"What purpose do you have with him." Reborn demanded.
"Please, Arcobaleno. If I wanted to possess him, I would have done so a long, long, long time ago."
Reborn narrowed his eyes, his finger hovering just above the trigger. "So you're planning to hurt him then?"
Mukuro's blue eye flashed indigo. "He is my Sky," he bit out. "I will never harm him."
Somewhere in the background, Tsuna is shedding some tears, whispering "he loves me. *sniffs* he really loves me."
Reborn held his gun up for a moment longer, his eyes staring straight into Mukuro's heterochromatic ones, before he slowly lowered it with a smirk. "Good enough," he said.
"So... can I not be the Decimo?" Tsuna asked hopefully.
"No."
Tsuna visibly deflated from that. "Damn. Seems like it's plan B."
"Plan B?" Reborn cocked an eyebrow.
"Yep, plan B." Tsuna smiled cheekily. "You're gonna like it, Reborn."
"Oh? We shall see..." Reborn gave a smirk of his own.
