Week 1
Sherlock pov:

I couldn't help but notice all the people in the room, the scratching of pencils as they took notes or doodled impatiently. I also couldn't help but take notice of the man at a height of approximately 5'6" walk through the door (fashionably) late and take the spare seat next to me. I also couldn't help but notice the fact he's training as a doctor and is leader of the scouts club near London.

"Hey, my names John" the blonde whispered to me, extending his hand which I too with my larger and shook firmly. Strong grasp means they are trustworthy and confident.

"Sherlock, Sherlock Holmes" I spoke in a monotone, my voice quieter as the teacher walked in and headed to the chalkboard with a white chalk and began scratching away today's lesson.

"Nice to meet you" the shorter man whispered, so quietly I had to lean closer to hear him.

We turned to the lesson at hand, occasionally passing conversation over, small comments on the teacher and also a deduction that shocked John into missing a whole page in the textbook, later explained by me.

Maybe this time I wouldn't be called a freak, that would be nice.

Week 2
John's POV:

Besides learning quite a lot about driving and road signs I've also learnt a fair amount about the guy next to me; he's a genius, tall, chocolate brown curly hair, auburn in the light and always wears suits. I was surprised he accepted me into his life really.

Me and Sherlock have grown quite close over the last two weeks, he got quite defensive when a certain Irish man called James hot short with me but besides that I've learnt better than I ever have, I also learnt that the teacher is having money problems at home and just got a divorce. Incredible.

Week 3 (driving lessons)
Third person POV:

Sherlock and John grew incredibly close, they were strong friends and finally after so many lessons of theory and how to drive, they were actually going to be sat behind the steering wheel of a red VW Golf, the driver known as Pete was an oldish man, about sixty odd but with a talent for driving that would surprise many people.

John's turn was first, reverse alphabetical order so Watson came before Holmes.

John took the place in the drivers seat, Pete sat on his left, extra peddles beneath his own feet for emergencies.

John smiled at Pete before clipping his seatbelt in place, making sure it was tight and secure. He then moved the car into first and held onto the steering wheel as he started the car, pressing the clutch in, left pedal.

Pete made a mark on his clipboard and another smile as well as words of praise as John then pulled off, gently pressing the accelerator as the Diesel engine purred quietly. He then began the course, forward first then around the cones and the tight corner at the end, three point turn and then back to finally finish the term by parking in the space between the two cars: parallel parking.

It was achieved with ease, and John passed the test with shooting stars.

A few more drivers in between, some failing miserably some doing as well as John, others somewhere in between.

John decided to watch the drivers with Sherlock, who seemed full of nervous energy.

"What if I fail?" Sherlock blurted out.

"Why would you fail?"

"I don't know, why wouldn't I?"

John considered that point before nodding carefully.

"What if I go with you?"

"Your not allowed"

"I'll ask" John decided before walking off to the people in charge and asking.

"Your not allowed to ride in ten vehicle during a test" they said bluntly.

"He's nervous, ill just be there to comfort him, I won't say a word, I won't intervene, but he's petrified" John explained, liking over his shoulder to see where Sherlock was watching every move the car made with calculating eyes, muttering to himself. His knee bounced up and down in anxiety and John turned his attention back to the propel in charge.

They had been watching too and finally, with cautions given, John was aloud to ride back seat as Sherlock took his test.

He walked calmly back over to Sherlock before revealing his news that ended up with an awkward but crushing hug from Sherlock whilst John gently patted his back.

"Sherlock Holmes, if you could begin your test now?" Pete came up to him with a smile, urging him to follow.

John climbed in back seat, buckling his belt as Sherlock took the drivers seat.

John watched carefully as Sherlock fidgeted with anxiety, a light sheen of sweat on his brow.

He followed standard procedure until he had to do his mirror checks and saw John smiling calmly at him from the back seat, a thumbs up sent in his direction. Sherlock smiled to himself, a pale blush rising on his cheekbones as he began to pull the car forwards.

The whole test was fine until Sherlock had to do the reverse of the test and go back around the cones and ended up crashing into two of them, after his lack of concentration and carefully monitoring John's face.

"Could you repeat that? you seemed a bit distracted there" Pete asked gently, as the cones were realigned and a new blush worked up Sherlocks cheeks and tips of his ears glowed red.

The second time went a lot better and eventually the test was passed with flying colors.

John climbed out the back as Sherlock climbed out the front and received an armful of John Watson who congratulated him over and over again.

"See? You did it Sherl! You did it!" John beamed up at him and they went to get tea in the building whilst they waited for their results and certificate.

After they had the embarrassing ceremony of collecting certificates and being applauded they were allowed to leave.

"Dinner?" Sherlock asked.

"What, as a date?" John teased and made Sherlock blush.

"No, just dinner" Sherlock repeated, his blush darkening.

"Sure, starving" John admitted with a laugh. "I am dragging you to get pizza!"

"What, why?" Sherlock asked confused.

"Everyone loves pizza!" John defended.

"Never tried it"

"What! Right we're going right now and getting pizza, come on"

"Okay, John"
