I rolled out of my bed and stood up and stretched in the direction of the sun just shining its warm golden light over the window . The entire meadow was glowing under its morning warmth and the dew was still plainly visible on all the blades of grass nearby.
Pulling back my hair into a messy bun and grabbing my round spherical spectacles.

I was one of the most weird and naughtiest girl in my family. I was the middle one in my siblings, i had an elder sister who got married last year and lived in New york , and then it was me trying to figure out what i was doing with my life other than being graduating in software engineering and then i had a younger brother in high school.

I grabbed my phone checked all the notifications as i do every morning, and then went to take shower .

I was all cleaned to start a fresh new day with a smile. I wore a plain white short kurta with a black dotted patiala and black plain dupatta on my left shoulder placed perfectly.
I took out my fav lip nude shade and applied it, with a slightly liner on my eyes which was like a regular basis for me as I looked like a weird person without it , left my hair open letting them fall backwards.

Aayat betaaa uth gayi i heard mumma screaming her lungs out..

Haan mumma uth gayi aari hoon bas i said grabbing my phone and university bag .

Asalamualaikum mumma i said as i greeted them sitting on the dining table.

Walaikumasalam aaj jaldi uth gayi aap zaid said snatching away the sandwich from my plate .

Hawww Zaid , mai marungi tumhe roz subah mood kharaab karte hoo i said hitting him hard which made him go *Ouch baji* ..

Ya Allah subah subah shuru hogaye phir tumlog, Baba aane ke baad aisi harkatein na kiya karo gussa karenge mumma said placing another sandwich in my plate.

Mumma mai kaha kuch bolti hoon saara kasoor toh yeh nalayak ka hota hai i said staring at him and he laughed.

Asalamualaikum baba greeted from behind as he came sat next to me .

Walaikumasalam baba , sar dard kam hai aapka i asked him giving him a serious look.

Haan theek hai Alhumdulilah aab bas tum lecture na shuru karna he said while winking at zaid .

Haan meri fikar aapko lecture hi dikhti hai , jis din shaadi karke jaungi na jab ehsaas hoga aap sabko how important i am for you all i said making a puppy face.

They all laughed ignoring my face as always.

Waise tum kaha ki rawangi mai hoo mumma asked me sitting opposite to me .

Mai toh university jari hoon aur kaha jaungi , i said her with a straight face .

Bhul gayi Shaista aunty ne bulaya tha tumhe aaj ke liye she said taking a bite of her breakfast.
