"You ready to take a look at yourself?" In the past hour I had gotten to know the two ladies who I learned where my Ladies in waiting Nana and Marina. They had turned me away from the vanity so I couldn't see what they were doing and I tried my best to sit still but I wasn't used to this treatment.

"Lady Ellaine?" I nodd gently and close my eyes, feeling the chair swivel around. But I wasn't ready. What if they had made me look horrible.

"You need to have your eyes open to have a look." Nana says with a giggle and I blush as I slowly open my eyes only to do a double take as I peer at my reflection.

My hair was pined up with messy curls as my bangs swept across my face. I was stunning.

"I think it's time for us to leave now that we have you ready to face the world." Marina says, turning the chair and holding her hand out for me.

"Okay let's go then." I smile at the two as I take Marina's hand and rise off the chair with her help. The two quickly curtsy before I exit the room and come face to face wilt Elliot, his eyes widening as he looks at me with a smile.

"Wow Ella you look amazing." He says in awe and I couldn't help but smile wider. I took the time to take in his look as well, his hair styled with the sides being short and the top part gelled to look like messy waves. His shirt was a sky blue dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of black dress pants and black dress shoes matched perfectly.

A gold belt wrapped around his hips to keep the pants secured nicely matched the gold with my outfit and I couldn't help but think that that was planned.

"Ah Lady Ellaine ready to go?" Creighton asks as he steps out from another room.

"Of course. Let's go face my father." I say with as much courage as I can muster.

"Good. Nana ready the parasol and Elliot you'll be going last." With that the door to the outside world was open and I watched as Creighton stood by it while I take a tentative step.

I could hear the buzz of people as the excitement of my arrival was drawing near and I couldn't help but take a deep breath to calm the nerves that were slowly growing inside me.

"I see her!" Some one shouts excitedly as I step into view, the flash of cameras and people shouting my name to look one way or another.

"Continue M'Lady." Nana whispers loud enough for me to hear and I nodd, standing straight and taking a step down the stairs. The sun was shining brightly today but just as Nana steped behind me shade casted down as she extended the parasol and held it above to keep me cool.

Harvin was already out side I quickly noted as he held his hand out to help me decent and I took it graciously, feeling him squeeze it encouragingly as I finished my decent.

"Smile and wave at the people." He whispers to me as I stand on solid ground and I nodd again, putting on a smile as I looked around.

A white carpet greeted me just a foot away from the stairs and as I looked ahead I could see a limo with its doors wide open. Paparazzi were held behind a line of men that I assumed to be guards and I instantly regretted this. My picture would be everywhere soon.

With a quick sigh a take a step towards the limo. Then another one. People were shouting my name, some paparazzi, some citizens in this land. And so as its future Dutchess I smiled as sweetly as I could and lifted my hand to wave as gracefully as I could.

It was starting to be easy as my nerves settled down and I made my way towards the limo, pausing to take a picture with a little girl that reminded me of myself at her age.

"Thank you Lady Ellaine." She gushes and I give her a hug, watching her run off to her mom before finally making it to the limo and sliding on in with Elliot joining me and both Nana and Marina settling down as well before the door closes.

"That was fun." Elliot laughs out and I groan, leaning my head on his shoulder and shutting my eyes.

"Will it always be like this?" I ask

"Yes. You'll always be in the spotlight from now on M'Lady." Marina answers with a chuckle before the limo roared to life and I watched the scenes fold by of fields that turned into buildings of the city, then to forests until a castle could be seen looking over a hill. This was my new home and I prayed it would be better then the last.
