"Lady Ellaine if you want to see your home we are pulling up to the gate." Nana says as the windows to the limo rolls down and I find myself moving quickly to look out the window closest to me, Elliot chuckling at my eagerness.

The gate appears first, the black glistening wrought iron wedge between the tough looking sand coloured stone seven foot wall opening to allow the limo entrance but what caught my attention was the crest, a simple heel surrounded by roses and thorns, that was etched into the stone. It was both feminine and masculine all in one and I loved it.

Next was the long drive up the hill, passing perfectly manicured gardens, fountains that pooled into beautiful ponds that held watter lilies as they floated along the crystal clear water.

Hedges trimmed to perfection line the stone walls as I turn to look back at the gate closing and I couldn't believe what a view this was. It was beautiful. No, this was magical.

"So how long till we reach home?" I ask looking at my Ladies in waiting.

"Not for another half hour, forty-five minutes at the most."  Marina answers and I nodd, turning back to look at the scenery.

Flower beds slowly start to take my attention as their scents reach my nose and I couldn't help but inhale and take a calming breaths as I relax a little more. I could spend hours out here writing.

With a soft smile I open my eyes again and watch the rest of the drive until the sight of the towers peaks at me, the stone ancient by the looks of it as it contrast against the beautiful blue sky. Liam and Evelyn would have loved to see this.

As the limo drives closer to the castle the view of the structure slowly revealed itself and I couldn't help but take a picture of it on my phone.

The building must have had six floors, it's windows all arched with tower jutting out from the ground as if the building was reaching for the sky. Ivy crawls up the west side of the building, the green leaves clinging to the old grey stone for dear life in the fall weather.

As we drew nearer I started spotting the details in the stone work. Roses were once again carved into it and I couldn't help but smile. There had to be a theme here that my ancestors thought were funny.

Finally the entrance to the castle was visible, stairs in a crescent shape on either side climb towards the landing, the same rose engraved stone decorated with rose petals of every colour.

Below the landing and along the side of the stone steps white rose bushes in full bloom welcomes me with their fragrant scent as the limo door opens.

My attention is drawn away from the flowers as the heavy wooden doors in the shape of and arch open inwardly, but not before I catch the same crest from the front gate decorating the center in gold.

"Presenting his Lordship, Duke Alkaris Calrstoram of Edensberg." Yells out a man that stood by the door, a sword sheathed at his left hip. His outfit was freshly pressed, his pants black as an endless void held up by a gold belt. His shirt was a stone grey coloured hidden behind a white blazer that held the crest above his left heart. He must be a guard.

The sounds of foot steps approaching the railing of the landing could be heard as another man in a form fitting  business suit steps out, a white sash draped across his torso decorated with the same crest. His face was cleanly shaven and I could tell he had a strong jaw line.

I couldn't help but shy away and move closer to Elliot as he directs his gaze towards me, his eye lighting up crinkling with laugh lines as a smile graces his lips.

His hair was the same brown as mine except for the greying hair, his eyes the same crystal blue that stares at me in the mirror. I couldn't help but smile back.

There, standing above us, my father. The man who wanted to know me. The man who spend years trying to get me to know him.

"Go to him Ella, you deserve it." Elliot whispers to me, pushing me forward gently and giving me the boost I needed to move as I take another tentative step forward, his own feet moving towards me until the pounding of his feet on stone down the steps indicated that he was racing towards me and I was racing towards him as he pulls me into his arms, streams of tears falling down his eyes and I couldn't help but join in the crying.

"I'm so sorry." He cries out, his voice full of sorrow.

"I left before I watched you be born. I was gone before anyone could tell me I had a beautiful girl and I left you to your mother thinking you would be happy after years of hearing you didn't want to see me." His hand goes and cups my cheek as he pulls away, wiping the tears away from my face as he smiles.

"Can you forgive me my sweet Ellaine?" He asks and I nodd, placing my hands on his as I smile.

"It wasn't your fault daddy." I asnwer, his smile growing wider as he hugs me again.

"I've waited to hear you call me dad, father, daddy. Anything really for years. I couldn't picture anything else then what you would look like. My little girl." He cries again and I just gripped onto him tighter. My dad wanted me. He wanted to raise me.

"My little Ellaine." His words are muffled by my hair and I couldn't help but nod.

"My Lord?" The knight says as we pull apart from this reunion.

"Yes Levis?" My father answers with.

"Let's bring Lady Ellaine inside to settle down as well as Sorry Elliot." He says and my father looks back to where Elliot stood, leaning against the limo and smiling up at me, his own eyes shinning.

"You're right. Ellaine are you hungry? I have the cook creating creating a buffet for you and your friends since I don't know what you like." He says and I smile.

"Anything but peanuts and peanut butter and shel fish. Allergy reasons." I state and he smiles.

"You're more like me then you're mother. You even look a lot like your grandmother." He whispers and k couldn't help but blush. My father just complimented me.

With a smile he holds up his arm, taking mine and placing it in the crook of it gently.

"Let's go inside our home. I have seventeen years to catch up on."
