Hello everyone! It's so interesting, earlier this week I was at around 1.95K reads, and now I'm at 2.26K reads in just a matter of days!
The reason I point that out is that I appreciate all of you commenting, whether you're religious or not. I've received some great info on Christianity, and I hope to use that sometime in the future. Thank y'all, and keep commenting! :)
1. Have you ever doubted your own faith/religion?
2. What does Heaven/Hell look like to you personally?
3. Can someone still be religious without going to church?
4. There are over 4,000 religions in the world (4,200 to be exact), how do you know your religion is the right one?
5. If thousands of religions have to be wrong for yours to be right, doesn't this show that people all over the world like to invent gods that don't exist?
6. If your parents were a part of a different religion, would you be part of that religion too?
7. If God told you to kill someone, would you?
8. Rape wasn't always a crime in the Middle East 2,000 years ago, is that why 'thou shalt not rape' is not one of the 10 Christian Commandments? Even the Satanic Bible has a do not rape commandment!
9. Do animals need "god-given morality" to care for young, operate within a pack, and feel loss? Why do we?
10. If God is all-knowing, why do holy texts describe him as surprised or angered by human acts?
11. If God is all-knowing, why does he create people he knows will ultimately reject him?
12. The story of Noah's Ark was copied almost word for word from the much older Sumerian Epic of Atrahasis, so does this mean our true God is the sky God, Anu?
13. If missionaries from your religion should be/are sent to other countries to convert people, should missionaries from other religions come to your country to do the same?
14. Should an instruction to convert to your religion upon threat of eternal torture be met with anything other than hostility?
15. Did the mass murdering Crusaders and Inquisitors make it into the Christian heaven?
16. If aliens exist in several world that have never heard of your God, will they all be going to hell when they die?
