Liam’s silver car pulled up outside my house, he opened the door and stepped out, still dressed in his white shirt and dark jeans from the movie.

“Amelia!” He ran and hugged me whispering apologies in my ear repeatedly.

“Li, shh, come sit.” I said leading him to the couch on our front proch. He sat next to me, tracing patterns on my hand.

“Amelia I’m so sorry for punching Jayden, you shouldn’t be getting involved in this, its not your fight!”

I nodded, shushing him again.

“Liam, I forgive you but you and my brother need to sort this out. It was a mistake, a long time ago and this stupid, bitterness needs to be dealt with.”

He nodded, I texted Jayden to come out and went inside.

They never told me what happened, all I know is that when they came back inside they were laughing like old mates.
