We argue
We yell
We insult
But neither of us want to stop
We wont stop talking
Because we don't want to leave
Alone and angry
Because we know
That being lonely and irritated
Can lead to sadness
And we don't want eachother
To ever be upset
So we argue
Over whatever nonsense
We argue until we compromise
Or understand the views
We argue until
We can no longer be mad
Until we forget
What started our fight
We won't stop talking
Even if the argument quiets
And we're both still upset
We'll say angry "I love you"s
Until we forgive and forget
So we bicker
And we nag
We get into those rare occasions
Where we seem like enemies
But I can't stand
To ever be your enemy
Or to leave your anger to tears
So I'll fight and fight
Until I can hold you again
