Finding Out

I went over to Ella's that afternoon. My phone started going off like a fire alarm. I checked it and saw the messages were from Leah.

Me : yes Leah

Leah : Omg! Omg!

Me :wat?

Leah : Where'd u rush off to so early

Me : I went over to Ella's

Leah : Jace was asking where u were!

Me : really?!

Leah : yes! He wanted to know where u went!

Oh my gosh! Is this really happening? I couldn't believe it. Jace was asking about me! "Ella!" I shouted from her basement, "yes" she replied. "Jace was asking about me!" With that I heard footsteps coming downstairs. "Oh my gosh!" She said. We grabbed hands and danced around like two little girls who just got a new Barbie doll. We talked for about half an hour about that and about Ella's new crush, Cameron. "You really like Cameron?" I asked. I mean I could understand, Cameron had bright blue eyes, a slight build and was pretty damn attractive. "Yes!" she replied.

After talking and talking, Ella had to deliver her newspapers. I helped her out obviously. During the walk we talked more about the topic we had earlier. When I finally started getting to the sensitive topic of 'are we moving too fast' the rain clouds broke loose. Whoosh! Suddenly it started raining , actually it started pouring. The air got colder, the wind got heavier and the rain just kept coming down. We finished as quickly as we could and ran home sopping wet. Our hair was a stringy, soaked mess and honestly we looked like we just came back from swimming. We were both shivering but laughing at the memory of running around in the rain with newspapers in our arms.

After drying up we ate some pizza and listened to music while talking about, well, boys. We also tried to make some home made hot chocolate but failed miserably.

My mom texted me and said she'd pick me up at 7:30. I was kind of upset about not getting to tell Ella about my problem, and I know I shouldn't keep it bottled up, but I'd get to it.. maybe tomorrow. We watched a few YouTube videos and with that I headed home.

It was about a full hour later that I remembered Jace wanted me to call him. Ugh, I completely forgot. I got my phone out and turned it on, well tried to, but it was dead. Great, just great! I guess whatever was so important would have to wait until tomorrow. I decided to go to sleep due to how tired I was, but I couldn't stop thinking about what was so important that Jace wanted me to call him.
