"Hey." Sameed smiled as I bumped into him and his friends at school.
"Hey." I replied.
I've decided to do things a little different. Why couldn't I be friends with guys? What's so wrong with that? There shouldn't be any problems as long as I'm keeping an acceptable distance between us and don't give them the wrong ideas.
I didn't want anything to do with Max though, I couldn't trust him.
"What's your first period?" He asked.
His friends were all examining me, from head to toe. I felt uncomfortable at first but that quickly changed when Sameed told them to continue on walking. Maybe he noticed I was uncomfortable or he just wanted to be alone with me.
"Erm History." I replied.
"Aight, I got basketball practice, come check me out." He grinned at me.
"I do have some free time after history so." I said, smiling.
"I'm expecting you" He replied walking away backwards. He does know how to talk to girls, I'm sure he has a lot of experience. Don't worry I won't fall for that. See it like this, I will only use him until I make some new friends. This way I don't look like a complete loner.
The more I looked at him, the more I realized how handsome he was. I saw a picture of him as I was scrolling on instagram yesterday. Quite popular guy, but not the bad boy of the school, if I say so myself.
I unlocked my phone and looked at his picture again.
