"Tom?"
"Mmmm?"
"What are we?"
Tom's eyes widened at the question as he sat up from the movie, immediately making Rachel feel embarrassed by asking.
His hand reached for the back of his neck. "What do you want to be?"
Rachel sat up from her comfy position on his hotel room bed, crossing her legs. She suddenly felt out of place and almost bad for asking.
"Well, I really like you, but are you ready for a relationship? I know how you feel about your ex and that's okay. I can wait." She spoke softly, trying to get across to Tom.
He nodded. "I've been thinking about it for a while, if I'm honest, and I can't imagine myself with anyone but you. I've got to get back into relationships at some point, and i'd be over the moon if it was with you."
Rachel's heartbeat rocketed at his kind words, unable to keep her smile off her face as he looked at her with beaming eyes.
"Rachel, will you be my girlfriend?"
"I don't know, will you be my boyfriend?" She wiggled her eyebrows at the brunette.
They laughed before Tom leaned in.
"I wouldn't want to be anything else."
