This is the day
Just one of those days
That has been very much familiar every day for the past 15 years
Just the same old feeling of longing for something
Something that is very hard to reach
Something that not everyone gets to experience
Longing for a real friendship
Longing for real love
Longing for closeness with someone
Someone who cares
Someone who knows when I need them
Someone who accepts me the minute they see through me
Sees through my broken heart
The broken heart that is lying inside
Broken like a twitching machine
Slightly dislocated but surprisingly still working
Still working each and every day
Hope filled inside
That there is a fixer somewhere
Ready to handle a broken heart
A fixer that will be able to handle it the way it deserves to be handled
Like any other heart that's found their fixer
A fixer with patience
A fixer with so much love made as a remedy for the broken heart
Love that will be enough to get the broken heart pumping
Pumping back to the way it was the second it was created
Awakened back to life if there is life left in this world
It's homesick
Homesick for a place it is not sure exists
Homesick for a place where it is full
Homesick for a place where it is loved
Homesick for a place it's soul is understood
But the place is hard to find
It cannot wait any longer
It cannot wait any longer for real friendship
It cannot wait any longer for love
It cannot wait any longer for closeness with someone
It cannot wait any longer for another beat
It just cannot wait any longer
