X's P.O.V

There he go again, beating the shit out of his girlfriend.. her scream floods the halls in our apartment building, this shit happened almost every night.. always for the same shit.

I'm glad I'm moving out today, sick of hearing this shit every night, sighing I continue to pack my stuff

"NO MIKE! PLEASE BAB-" she yelled before I hear a loud thud following up with another scream, it killed me hearing this every night.. i know damn well everyone in this building hears it too but are too pussy to say so.

"BITCH SHUT THE FUCK UP Y/N!" He yelled before opening and slamming the front door shut before stomping down the steps, he finally left her alone perfect opportunity for me to see if she's okay.

I knock on the door, I wait for a while before I see the door open a little.. "Y-yes?" The girl whispers, "Are you okay?" I whisper as I scanned her face, a busted lip a black eye and a huge cut on her cheek.

"Um n-no" she whispered before breaking down, "Help me please" she pleaded grabbing my hands begging on her knees, damn the girl was a beauty.. how can someone put their hands on her? She looks like she wouldn't hurt a fly.

"I will, pack your stuff" I said walking in to see absolutely no furniture, just a tv.. a mattress on the floor and a small fridge, damn this place is a shit whole. She comes out with a pair of jeans a top, a pair of shoes and a hand bag, "I'm ready" she whispered.

Nodding I grab her stuff and take her stuff to my apartment next door, "I'm just taking few things to my car, make yourself comfortable" I said to her as I quickly finished up my packing.

As we are heading downstairs I hear a familiar voice which one belonged to his royal bitch ass, Mike. As I see him walk up the stairs I quickly pick her up take the evaluator, "Oh my god" I hear her whisper as we hear a screaming Mike yelling and asking where she was.

"Don't worry shorty, you are safe now" I whispered before kissing her on the forehead as we quickly head towards my car and pull off.

"Gosh I don't know how to repay you, I own you my left as we pull up to Stokely's crib which I will be living in. "You can stay with me and my boy.. I'm sure there is a spare room for you to have in till you find a job and stuff" I offered bringing her inside the house.

"Yo X that you?" I hear Stokely yell from the top of the stairs running towards me, "Stokely this is-" before I could say anything, Stokely runs up to y/n picking her up and twirling her around.

"Y/N BABY GIRL!" Stokely yelled as he looked at her face, tears streaming down his cheeks as his eyes wonder around her face and body, "BIG BRO" he yelled as she sobbed on his shoulder.

"What's going on?" I finally said confused as ever, "This my cousin, but she's basically my little sister. She was kidnapped when she was 16 by her controlling boyfriend.. HOW DID YOU FIND HER?" Stokely yelled excited before bringing me into a tight bro hug.

"I will tell you the story another time, we have to take y/n to the hospital" i said before handing y/n some water, who had a genuine smile across her face.

I bet she haven't done that in a long time
