"Alexi is that you? " I ask completely shocked, yet speak in whispers so that nobody hears.
Will that honestly help? I'm pretty sure Theodore has already sent a troop for an arrest.
Dropping my bow, I walk a few steps towards her, silently. Quickly she runs in my direction and pulls me into a hug. My normal reaction and I fold my arms around her neck. Taking her heat in and hearing her sniffle a sob.
In seconds the heat moves away and I see her hold my shoulders with a broad smile on her face.
"Rey, I'm really happy I found you. Come with me,"
At this point, I'm enraged after I realized what was actually going on. I rip myself off of her hold and cross my arms in a defensive position.
"Happy? Happy! Lexi, you left me alone here, and come back weeks later to drag me along with you! You'll get us both killed!," I screamed in a whisper.
"Rey we don't have time, I can explain later. Trust me," She says in an apologetic voice.
"Trust you! Lexi, your someone I could never even imagine in my dreams, you left me here to 'bond' with my mate, and then when it really seems to go in a good direction, you come back weeks later to come with you to the middle of nowhere!" I say continuously without taking a pause.
"Rey, you have to trust me on this. Your life is in danger, and I would do anything to save you. Please come with me and I'll explain later, I promise." She says holding my shoulders.
"What about Theo?" I ask in a moment of concern.
"He'll be coming as well Rey, don't worry arrangements have already been made," She says pulling my hand to go in a direction.
"What arrangements?" I ask curiously.
She hesitates for a few seconds and her eyes wander about. I could see her pupils dilate as her pulse quickened. She seemed really nervous as her grip on my hand loosened.
She was thinking for an answer.
In that moment, I prepared myself for a run. As I was about to rip my hand from her, she does something unimaginable.
"Rey, you leave us no choice," the last voice I heard.
Nausea crept up my abdomen like a black hole sucking my life out. As a cool liquid filled my veins, my eyes drooped and all I could register was me clocking out.
