So, I saw this theory on Nox recently, & I decided that it must be shared.

The ToG fandom has so many fan theories about Nox. We desperately search for any clues about him in the books, crying in anger when there's simply no mention of him.
I like to think that there's a reason he's the Master Thief of Perranth—it's going to take an outstandingly masterful thief to rescue Aelin from Maeve.
Think about it.
Who better to slip through Doranelle & steal the Heir of Fire than a human (possibly disguised as one of the Fae's pets)? Maeve is going to be on high alert for any of Aelin's court, but a random human male? Not likely to be noticed.
And if he can't find some Fae to hide behind in Doranelle, Nox got out of Rifthold without being caught. I'm sure he can handle a Fae city.
Just imagine Aelin in her iron coffin, beginning to lose hope, when suddenly the door swings open & reveals the person she was the least sure her letter would reach. And yet when she sees Nox, she wonders how she could have ever doubted him.
Although to be honest, I'm 50% sure SJM just forgot about Nox.
She probably spilled her daily cup of "Brutally Separate Ships at the End of the Second-to-Last-Book" coffee when she realized how obsessed we are, & is currently frantically trying to figure out how to incorporate him.
