So, reading this, I wrote down a few notes. Well, inner monologue while reading. It consists more of my favorite little pieces that were in danger of being forgotten rather than the bigger events, if that makes any sense.
Okay . . . So first thing I wrote down . . . How about Rowan's introduction in this book? Crashing through the fucking window😂😂😂 I was dying of laughter. This was, of course, before I was dying from choking on my sobbing.
Fucking Rowan😂. And then he was super calm while holding the Fae commander by his collar. I mean, it wasn't like he was threatening his life or anything😂😂. Then you had Lorcan & Gavriel super chill about the whole thing. Amazing😂

I did get super depressed after the fact when Lorcan was thinking about Rowan's tattoo. He made a mention about possibly having to make another one if shit with Aelin went the wrong way. Why. The. Fuck. Thanks for the mention, dickhead.
And then I got even more depressed when Elide finally confronted Lorcan about what happened that day on the beach. And when Lorcan said that he wasn't crawling towards Maeve, but Aelin . . . Fuck. That hurt me. Lorcan does have a heart. And a guilty conscience apparently.
Then we got Yrene who's fucking pregnant!!! GAH?!?! Come on, Sarah!!! She's already going into life threatening situations, & on top of that you got to make her pregnant??? NO!! No joke, I was scared shitless for her the entire time.
Okay, was anyone else getting not only pumped up, but also terrified at the "You will not yield" part? Hell fucking yeah!!!
