I sat in my chair as my glam crew did you makeup and hair.Tonight was the Oscars and I was attending due to the fact that I was nominated in three catergories:Best Actress,Best Director and Best Supporting Actress all at age 19.It was a big accomplishment not only for me but for the movies.I was speechless when I got the news especially my nomination for Best Directing.It was my first movie I ever directed.It was hard work but I was glad with the results.My boyfriend of 3years,Shawn Mendes, was my biggest supporter and although he had his own career he would always make sure I was in his priorities.Tonight I decided to dress to impress.I mean tonight was going to be amazing whether I win or not.My glam crew finished my makeup and hair.My eyes were a smokey eye,my lips were a dark red and I had some serious contour and blush.My hair was straightened with some highlights due to extensions.My dress was a long stunning red dress that had a high neck.The sides were bare except for the strings running across.I matched it off with my 5inch high heels.

I stared at myself in the mirror.Not to sound vain but I looked pretty hot.My crew made me pose for some pictures as they too were proud of their work.After about 15minutes I hear my guards calling me down.I walked downstairs to see my parents chatting away with Shawn.Shawn looked gorgeous as usual.He wore a black suit with gold cuffs looking so handsome.He stopped talking when he noticed me."Oh my God Y/N you look amazing like really hot." He came forward and wrapped his arms around me kissing me real quick."Thanks you look really good too." I complimented back."Here I got this for you," Shawn said handing me a box.I opened it to see a gorgeous pair of diamond earrings."Shawn its so beautiful thank you." I said hugging him.I immediately took off my earrings and put his one on."Well tonight is a big night so we need gifts." Shawn said admiring me."Well dont you two look stunning." My mom said.
"Lets take some pictures of my girl.So proud of you." My dad said coming to hug me.We took a few pictures and said goodbye before heading to our car.This was not our first red carpet together.We would go to each others award shows and sometimes we were nominated at the same award shows so we go together but tonight a lot of people were depending on me and I had that pressure on me."Dont worry babe.You have been killing it.You will do amazing and even if you dont win,being nominated for 3Oscars at 19 is a big deal.We will celebrate no matter the outcome." I smiled at Shawn as he reassured me."I know its just I feel like I will let a lot of people down you know.I am a small Caribbean girl.Everyone in the Caribbean is hoping on me to win along with everyone else and I feel like I may not live up to their expectations." I sighed.Shawn placed his hand on my cheek and gave me a quick kiss."You being where you are at 19 is enough.You went from an ordinary girl to an actress,director,model,clothing designer,entrepreneur and humanitarian.Hell you did way more than me.You get millions,you are worth millions.Your net worth is 30million for crying out loud.You are doing more than anyone could do in a lifetime.You are an amazing,kind soul.You won a lot of things not only awards bug in people hearts.Relax." By the end of this I was almost in tears.It was the sweetest thing I was ever told.I kisses Shawn one more kiss before I pulled away.We made our way to the venue and posed for some pictures before leaving.Shawn had his hands around my waist keeping me calm.We were pulled for a quick interview with Ryan."Hello Y/N and Shawn!"
"Hello," we said in unison.
"First of all you both look stunning.Who are yo guys wearing?"
"I am wearing Armani," Shawn replied."I am actually wearing myself from my new collection MGS." I smiled proudly.
"Wow so Y/N tonight is a big night for you how do you feel?You have done so many things in your three years in Hollywood this should be nothing."
"Actually Ryan I have never been more nervous.A lot of people are hoping for me to win and I really do want to win atleast 1 but just to be nominated tonigh is amazing."
"Shawn how proud are you of Y/N?"
"I am extremely proud.Actually in the car ride here I couldnt help but tell her all her accomplishments at such a young age.I am 23 years old and she is 19years old and she did way more than I did in my years so far.I am really proud of her and even if she doesnt win a award tonight she should know how amazing she is." I watched Shawn and smiled at him."Aw thats sweet.Y/N he is a keeper.So what are the plans for the future?"
"Well in a werk I am flying to Paris for a fashion show I am walking and then I am meeting up with some designers for my clothing collection and then I am flying to Ghana for some time.I donated money a while back and I was told it built a lot of facilities so I am going to visit them and then Shawn and I are working on something and I will be at my makeup warehouse for some time.I want to do this all in 2months.So I am busy."
"Isnt my girlfriend amazing?" Shawn commented."Yes thats really impressive but you never fail doing any task you put yourself to Y/N so best of luck with that and tonight.Have a great time guys."
"Thanks Ryan.You too." Shawn and I mad our way inside the building and had our seats.Shawn was at the end and I sat next to Harry Styles who was nomianted for Best Actor.He was really sweet and complimented me in just about anything.The night proceeded well until it came to my first catergory,"Best Supporting Actress."My heart began to beat so fast."And the winner is Y/F/N Y/L/N!" I shot up from my seat immediately as I was hugged by Harry and Shawn.I made my way up on stage and accepted my award."I just want to thank God,my parents,my family,friends,supporters,cast,crew and every single person who helped me to be here today.I am extremely grateful for this.No one will ever understand how much this means to me but from the bottom of my heart thank you and I love you guys so much." I quickly made my way back gleaming with pride.Other catergories were called and then my second catergory came up "Best Director."Truth be told I won one award and I was happy."The winner is......Y/F/N Y/L/N!" Now I was overjoyed I did my same routine and accepted my award."Massive thank you to everyone who helped me and was patient with me and supporting me from the start.As a person new to directing I would picture something a certain way and want certain thimgs but I didnt know how to format and express it so thank you to all of you guys who feed me with creativity,inspiration and for helping me express it.This means the world to me thank you guys once again.I love you!" I didnt really care how good my speech was.I was lost for words.On my way back I was stopped by numerous people to congratulate me.Then it came to my last nomination."Best Actress." Harry wished me luck and Shawn was holdin my hand as I stood on the edge of my seat."Not only is Y/N nomianted in 3 catergories tonight but if she wins,she would go down in History was the first ever coloured AND youngest woman to win 3 Oscars in one night.No pressure though." The presenter said making everyone laugh."And the winner is," he opened the envelope whch felt like years.I mean I was so close.Yes I was grateful but when you hear you can go in History for something so amazing and make an impact,it makes you want something more than ever."Making History is Y/F/N Y/L/N."You couldnt believe it.Everyone shot up from their seats applauding you.Harry gave you a hug and Shawn kissed you.While walking to the stage I was stopped and congratulated.I accepted my award and looked into the audience seeing smiling and even crying faces.I took a deep breathe."Wow.Thank you firstly to God for blessing me.Thank you to my parents for supporting me and pushing me.Thank you to my friends and family for being there for me.Thank you to all the cast and crew for everything AND thank you to the fans." Once I reached here I became emotional.Some tears slipped out my eyes as I got a few awws from the audience."Thank you to the fans." I repeated."Thank you guys so much.A few years ago I was a normal girl who had big dreams in a not so big world.I was slowly falling and falling but funny thing once you hit rock bottom there is onlh one way to go and thats up and thats what I did.I stopped listening to all the fat shaming comments and all the degrading comments about my stupid dream because here I am living that dream.I have exceeded my expectations and everyone else.So to all of you who are sitting down and are being told you cant do it.Dont prove them right.Get up get to work and do what you want to do cause a few years inthe future you are going to wish you started today.Thank you to everyone including my boyfriend Shawn for supporting me in everythingmI love all of guys and from the bottom of my heart,thank you." I was full on crying.I meant every word I said and the fact that I made everyone proud made me feel like I had more than accomplish my goals.That night celebration was on full swing.Everyone was congratulating me and Shawn couldnt feel any more proud.It was actually trending in twitter #CongratsY/N #Shemadehistory #Thatspeechtho.While at the after party Shawn asked me to dance and while dancing he looked at me in the eye and placed his hand on my cheek,"I love you so much and I knew you would win.Y/N you are such an amazing person and sometimes I feel like I dont deserve you because your so amazing but you always make me feel so worthy of being yours.I love you so much and I want one day to wake up with you ny my side everyday and for you to have my kids and for you to be mines.I love you." He wiped away the few tears that I let slip from my eyes.The next day my family called saying I was a big deal back home and how proud they were.Even some celebrities congratulated me via social media.Shawn posted a picture of us and captioned it,'Congrats to the girls who stole my heart.I always believed in you and that wont ever change.I love you!' My life was a dream.
