Breathe.Stay calm.Thats all I had to do yet I seemed to fail."Babe you are going to do great trust me.You can act.You got some mad skills and even if they dont like you there are so many more auditions you could go too." Shawn assured me while driving the streets of L.A.I had my first ever movie audition today and I was so anxious.I always wanted to act since I was a kid but I never had the guts but since I met Shawn he kept pushing me to do it."I know its just this is a big role and I really want it.If I get it I get to work with Johnny Bloody Depp and Douglas Booth!And unlike you some of us arent superstars already." I stated.
"Look I believe in you and I told you that if-"
"No Shawn you are not going to pull strings for me.I want to do it the hard way."
"Did I ever tell you how humble and honest you are babe?" I smiled."Actually you do all the time." We laughed as we pulled up to the studio."Good luck." Shawn said kissing me.He insisted he came for supporting purposes.I walked in and sat down and waited for my turn."Y/L/N." A woman said walking out.I stood up and walked behind her as she lead me into the room filled with about 10people including Douglas Booth and Johnny Depp himself sending me a little over the edge.I quickly shook everyone's gand and walked infront by the x."Hello and you are?"
"Y/F/N Y/L/N." I stated politely.
"Well Y/N tell us a little about you."
"Well I am 18 years old.I was born right here in L.A. and my oarents and I moved to the Caribbean where I grew up and I recently moved back up to study.I love music and photography."
"Okay thats nice.If you are here to study why are you here?" Douglas questioned.He was cute no lie."Well since I was little I always wanted to act but where I was growing up I wasnt able to have oppurtunities like this so I made a deal with my parents I had study abroad but I used it as a chance to be here.My boyfriend really pushed me and thats what I needed."
"Sweet so if you got this role what would it mean to you?" Johnny asked.I realized they all asked a question."If I got this role it eould mean a lot because it would be able to allow me to share my passion and do my passion.It will give me a chance to show everyone that no matter what your dream is you have to risk it all cause it may shape you for your future and atleast I can say I tried but I wont ever give up."
"Mhmm and what would you do with you pay?"
"I would pay my college tuition and save some,send some for my parents and donate what I could to charities."
"Well Y/N you really are a good person so good luck." They told me what scenes to say and I did.After I did my first scene the casting director whispered."Okay hun we want you to do a scene with Douglas." I nodded and looked for the scene.It was an intense one with heartbreak.Douglas gave a quick smirk at me as he stood behind me saying his line."But I love you Rose." I turned away so I was facing everyone."Do you even know what love is?This was all a stupid game for you and I was a pawn in it.You wanted to steal my father's money and not my heart.So go.Go and do your job.Go!" I screamed.Douglas turned me around and watched me in my eye."I didnt want it to be like this Rose.Really.I love you."
"Well I'm sorry but I dont love you." Everyone began clapping as Douglas threw an arm around me."That was absolutely phenomenal.You know we dont usually do this buf Y/N how do you feel about shooting from next week?" The casting director asked with a smile."No way!" I squealed.Everyone clapped congratulating me and I gave everyone a hug and thanked them before running in Shawn's jeep."So how did it go?" Shawn asked eagerly."I didnt get the part."
"Oh babe." Shawn whispered.I couldnt help but break into a huge smile leaving Shawn confused."I'M JOKING I GOT IT!"
"NO WAY!" Shawn said smiling ear to ear.We went for ice cream to celebrate."I am so proud of you.You know its kinda hot I am dating an actress." Shawn smirked at me."Shut up." I smiled stealing some of his ice cream.God.My future would be brighter than I expected.
