It had to be the tenth or twelfth round you didn't know. The unlimited amount of zombies being unleashed every moment made it difficult to keep track but this round you needed a break, you just didn't feel right. So you said "hey Takeo try to leave a crawler towards the end I need to rest for a minute." He simply just nodded and threw a grenade to down the last zombie. Once the zombie was now crawling you went to where the quick revive on the upper level to try to get some privacy from the group to figure out what was wrong with you. You thought to your self 'what could it be?' While you did have a drinking contest with Nikolai and Dempsey yesterday but, that couldn't be it you always drink! Nikolai was  your boyfriend so that kind of comes with it. However, you did remember the night you and Nikolai spent together a couple weeks ago so you decided to ask Richtofen as he was or used to be a doctor. You walked out of the big room  you were in and walked over to Edward he was talking to himself and being weird as usual. " Um...hey Richtofen I'm kind of having a problem" " oh ja? what's wrong?" He responded, "It's just that my lower abdomen has been killing me,I've been vomiting often, and I...I missed my menstrual cycle for this month." You say, he gives you a shocked look and responds " Well I would have to say what sounds obvious and that's that you're most likely with child." You froze at his remark. You couldn't be pregnant not now, not in this world. 'How would this child survive? How would Nikolai react and how would You be able to give birth in this god forsaken place we were at? "Oh my, well what should I do?" You ask in a concerned tone Richtofen quickly responds "well there is nothing we can do to stop it, "I'm sorry (Y/N)." You felt tears start to well up in your eyes, you thanked Edward and walked to the church and leaned against the wall and started to bawl. You suppose Nikolai heard you crying and came into the room and knelt down beside you and asked " (Y/N) what is the matter darling?" You put your face into your hands and say " Nikolai I don't know how I'm suppose to say this but I'm pregnant." Nikolai's face went blank, but then he gave a huge smile and happily exclaimed "(Y/N) this is great news!" "A baby is just what we need,it might just make this hell a better place." You couldn't believe what he had just said. You were happy that he wasn't completely upset about it but it wasn't something to celebrate! You spoke in a stern voice " Nikolai how can you say this is great! We are living in a damn apocalypse god only knows what will happen when I'm in labor and if the child lives through that how will it live through the hordes of zombies always trying to feast on it?" He sees your concern and takes you into his arms and says " (Y/N) darling, I'm Russian we fight to the death for what we believe in and love and there is no way in hell that I will ever let anything or anyone harm you or my baby girl or boy. So trust me on this and believe that everything Will be ok." You couldn't help but still cry but now they were tears of joy he smiled at you and took you back into his arms and you both spent the rest of the night talking about your little one's possible gender and names.
