Takeo Masaki x Reader

Hey guys!!! I'm back after almost like a week, I have started school and junior year is not as bad but knock on wood. But, to help keep these chapters coming I'm going to be updating on the weekends from now on because I barely have time to update. ( I was able to update today because one of my classes was pretty easy today so we got to be on our phones, but I don't know how often we will get these. So yeah expect updates on the weekends. 😊😊😄😀

Takeo x Reader

You were all sitting around the campfire telling your stories. Nikolai had just finished his and you had to admit it was pretty sad, you would have never guessed that he had been through so much. While you were sitting on your log you looked over and you saw Takeo. He was attempting to sharpen his Katana, you gave him a shy smile but he only responded by looking away. This made your spirits go down, you had liked him every since  you first met the group but, it seemed like he didn't feel the same. As your were sitting, Takeo got up from his log and started to walk towards the woods, and then faded into the darkness. You were concerned, so you turned to Tank and asked " where is he going?" Tank who was poking at the fire turned his head and responded " probably to go meditate or something like that. He hasn't really been handling this whole "killing of the 1.0 body too well." You simply just nodded to that, you imagined that it had to be hard but you really did care about him. After sitting and conversing with the others you decided to attempt to find him and try to console him. As you were walking through the forest you admired how pretty the night sky looked, you had never had a desire to travel to Japan but, the beauty of the country was undeniably beautiful. Once you reached the center part of the forest you started to hear a rustling noise coming from behind a row of thick vines. You drew your rifle from behind your back just in case there was anything other than Takeo out there but, surprisingly you started to hear humming coming from behind them. So you decided to slowly draw back the vines only to find Takeo humming a tune of a foreign song and looking over a large pond. You walked over to where he was at and softly said " it is so beautiful here. I come here whenever I need to relax or find peace." You agreed and said " it very much is," you decided to finally talk about what was on your mind and whispered " Takeo, I know this whole thing has been hard for you but, I'm here, we all are but you need to let us help you. He only responded by sighing and saying " Y/N, I am a man full of sorrow and pain. I will not pass it onto you, you don't deserve it." You took his hand into your's and quietly said " you can tell me. I'm here and I care about you." He gave a faint smile and wrapped his arms around you and said " Y/N, I care about you as well and I know you haven't been with us for a long time but, I hope you know that I will always protect and care for you. You didn't know how to react but to double to that he lightly grabbed your cheek and slowly kissed your lips. You returned the kiss by wrapping your arms around his neck, he broke away from the kiss and looked down at you and whispered softly " we may not have forever but, we do have tonight." You smiled at him and kissed him again. As the night went on you both spent the rest of the night by the pond trying to make this night as good as it could be since you both knew that you were never guaranteed a tomorrow.
