Also tbh Tank is literally my husband! Like I've loved him ever since I first started playing Cod which was like 7 years ago so it's been a long time lol. Anyway to the storyyyyy!!!!

The morning dew on the grass was prickling at your skin as you and Tank were laying on the earth's bare floor trying to absorb as much sleep as you could possibly get. The sky looked amazing, you had never been to any place exotic but this jungle was just breathtaking. You guys had barely been here two days when you teleported here from that God forsaken Soviet Cosmodrome. Thank god you guys left that area, those damn monkeys were fucking annoying. But, here the weather was hot but the morning was so far the best, you were still having your internal conversation until you heard a soft grunt from Tank. He rolled onto his side and looked directly out you and tried to kiss you until you stopped him and said, " um what the hell do you think you're doing?" He looked at you confused and responded " giving a good morning kiss to the most beautiful woman alive." He said while trying again to grab your face again, but you stopped him again and spat " not with that hot ass breath you've got right now!" He just rolled his eyes and got up from the corner you guys were laying at and walked to where the rest of the group was and joined them for some breakfast. You decided to follow him and eat as well. Once you got to the main area where the quick revive you all sat in a circle and shared some trout that Takeo had caught earlier in the morning. Everyone was gagging and trying to keep it down as it wasn't cooked all the way, but Takeo on the other had was eating it like it was from a five star restaurant! After finally eating as much as your body would allow you too you turned to Tank and said " hey let's go hit the box, the new round's gonna start sooner or later and we should be prepared." He nodded and ordered the rest of them to stay and rebuild barriers. As you both were walking through the  knee high water towards the box Tank stopped you and said, " (Y/N) do you love me?" You stopped what you were doing and thought for a moment 'did you love him?' You asked yourself you had only been with the group for 2 months and you and Tank had only been a thing for about 5 weeks, so you didn't really know it was kinda fast you thought. As you were still wondering to yourself he looked at you and said "do you?" You looked up at him and said " Tank, we've only known each other for a short amount of time, and to be honest it takes more than a month to form love for someone." His face immediately went blank he didn't say anything and marched away. 'Oh shit!" You said to yourself you ran to him and said "Tank don't be like this. Come back!" He only ignored you and continued walking in the other direction.

You hadn't seen him for hours. You were pacing around the spawn area trying to think positive but it was hard. Yes you did care for Tank but, you didn't love him. Love was a strong word and it's not something you've felt in a long time, so to have it happen all of a sudden was overwhelming. As you were walking around the area you saw what you thought was Tank sitting next to the Pac-a- Punch Machine with a sad look on his face. You walked up to the temple where it was at and slowly started to approach him and gently placed your hand on his shoulder and whispered " Tank I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said it like that." He wiped your hand off him and spat " then how was it meant to be said? Hmm?" "You don't love me after I've done everything in my power to keep you safe and protect you!" You could only stutter and say " T-Tank I...I'm sorry, but you can't expect someone to immediately be in love with someone they just met!" He turned back to you and yelled " that's just it (y/n)! We never know when are last day on this Earth is especially in the world that we are living in now!" "So what is wrong with loving each other with the time we have left?" You honestly didn't know what to feel, you felt tears well up in your eyes. You tried to speak but couldn't with out crying, finally you slowly spoke while still crying and said " T-Tank I'm so sorry!" You ran to him and embraced him, he accepted it and took you into one as well. He looked down at you and pressed his lips against you hair and said "(Y/N) I know this is all new but we can make it through it together." You only responded by allowing yourself to fall deeper into the embrace and saying three words you never thought you'd say again, " I love you." He smiled at you and said " I've loved you since the first day I layer my eyes on you." You both continued to kiss until he broke away and asked " does my breath really smell that bad?" You burst out laughing and respond saying " Yes it did in the morning but, I think some how that fish almost helped it." You both continued to laugh and kiss each other the rest of the day.
