Hey all so I really like this chapter ( is that narcissistic since I wrote the chapter? LOL idk) because Merrick was one of my favorite characters from Ghosts because he was just a fearless bad ass. So I thought how would he act if he was in like a emotional state so that's how I came up with this chapter. Hope you all like it😊😊

After Sin city mission

You and your team had just experienced one of the most emotionally disturbing missions yet. Elias your leader, your boyfriend, and the strongest man you knew had just been brutally murdered by someone who you thought at one point in time you trusted. But, right now none of that mattered, that someone aka Rorke was still out there and needed to be stopped before he killed anymore of the remaining Ghosts. You decided that it was about time to get up of the small bunk you were in (since you were now on an aircraft carrier) and go talk to the rest of the team about your next mission and hopefully the final strike on Rorke. As you walked through the barracks you saw the two Walker brothers who still looked like they were still in distraught but wanted their revenge. You slowly walk towards them and take them both into a hug which they kindly return, you look up and say " your father was a noble and brave man and he loved you both more than you two will ever know. I know this is a hard time I miss him too but we have to get through this and send that son of a bitch Rorke back to hell." Hesh nodded and grabbed his gun and said " you're right (Y/N) it's just hard to accept that the person who raised you and mentored you is gone." You frowned and respond " I know sweetie but he wouldn't want you being depressed and feeling guilty he'd want you dealing with the person who caused all this, so that's what we are going to do." Hesh gives a small smile and walks toward the helicopter with Logan, you walk back to the planning room only to find Merrick still in his night clothes which included grey sweatpants and a gray navy hoodie, crying! You run over to him in complete shock, he was the last person you would ever expect to show any emotion but then again this was a hard time for every one. "Merrick what's wrong?" You say in a comforting tone he keeps crying but manages to speak saying " (Y/N) I can't do this ever since Elias died I have to step into his shoes and I'm not cut out for this! How am I suppose to do the work a legend like him did?" You feel his worry and take him into a hug, he rests his head on your bosom which surprises you  but you thought Elias wouldn't what you to be secluded and never attempt to find someone else. So, you begin to rub your fingers across his head and tell him " Thomas it will be okay you are just as smart and brave as Elias and I don't think Elias would want anyone else but you to assume his position. It will be okay you have me and everyone else on the team to guide you." He just responds by wrapping his arms around you and kissing you, you don't know what to think but you simply kiss him back but what he said next surprised you. " I love you (Y/N)" he says as he slowly begins to stop crying. You are shocked by what he says, you didn't love him but at the moment you felt that this was what you both needed so you wrap your arms around him and say "I love you too." After you both say that he says " (Y/N) I know I will never be the man Elias was but I promise to protect you and love you every day", you start tear up yourself and you rest your head in the crook of his neck as he picks you up and lays you down on the desk. He begins to kiss down your neck and tries to take his clothes off, you also start to take off your gear but once he was about to remove your bra you grabbed his hand and said " Merrick we shouldn't be doing this right now at least not in here." He frowns and starts to assume that that you have changed your mind, but you quickly reassure him and say " we will pick this up tonight after mission planning" he smiles and kisses your cheek while you both put your clothes on. After you were both dressed you told him goodbye and headed to the deck, you thought to yourself 'It may take a long time for me to completely get used to Thomas, he's the only person I'd want to be with and I think Elias would agree.'

So that's done. It was probably one of my favorite chapters so far but I'm getting some serious writers block so if there's anyone you'd like to see please let me know😀
