Chapter One// The Break Up

I sat there happily, fiddling with my engagement ring on my finger. I couldn't believe Zayn and I were getting married in one week! I was 100% sure Zayn was the one for me.

"Perrie, we need to talk." Zayn said as he sat across from me.

"Sure, what do we need to talk about babe?"

"I don't know how to say this."

"Say what?"

"I think we need a break."

"W-What do you mean? I thought we were doing fine." I asked as my throat went dry.

"Just think about it. I don't want to take our relationship too fast."

"Zayn, I don't know."

"Perrie, I have a career and I dont want to lose it."

"I-I don't understand Zayn. You think your career is more important than us?"

"We're over." Zayn said.

"W-what?"

"You heard me, if you're that selfish to think about yourself and not care about my job, well I guess I shouldn't be dating you. I can't believe I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you!" Zayn said as he walked out the door.

Ouch. How could Zayn do this to me? How could he break my heart like this? 

I sat there crying to myself. What did I do wrong? I never said I didn't care about him!

I didn't mean to be that harsh on Perrie, but when I left I-I just felt like a piece of my heart was gone. Maybe I shouldn't have done that to Perrie.I just felt a big wave of guilt wash over me. Eh, whatever it doesn't matter anyways.
