Chapter 19

Jungkook

OMG! I just kissed Jimin. I pull away shocked at my own actions, "Jimin I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me or why i did that. Please forgive me, oh god I'm so stupid." I pace back and forth and am stop by Jimin grabbing my wrist.

"Kookie, I mean Jungkook, it's fine. We both just got
Caught up in the moment. Anyways I should go, good luck on your audition. I'll be rooting for you when you debut." Before he has a chance to leave I stop him.

"Please don't tell anybody about the audition, only my parents and best friend know. Even my friends at school don't know, so I would really appreciate if you didn't tell anyone. Especially not him, as far as he's concerned I transferred school." I plead.

He nods his head and exits without saying another word. I place my gym bag on a chair in the corner and start warming up before practicing. I'm a little rusty but I think I can put something together by tomorrow.

*Skip to after audition*
Thank you to everyone who tried out, we will contact you by Friday if you make the cut." Says the representative before dismissing us. I catch up with Yugyeom outside and we head to a nearby cafe for a quick lunch.

"How do you think you did Kookie?" He asks me with a mouthful of cookies. "I think I did okay, I mean I only had a night to prepare but I hope I did okay. This opportunity might not come again for a while." I answer truthfully.

After lunch we head over to Yugyeom's house to play video games. We were having an intense Mario kart race battle when I pushed him off of the rainbow road causing him to scream out loud in frustration.

"Yah Jungkook that's so not fair!" He cries out loud before tackling me to the ground, we play fight flipping each other over for a couple of minutes before he finally pins my arms down.

"Well well well what do we have here, a poor defense Kookie. Never thought I'd see you under me like this, gotta say I kinda enjoy the view." He says smirking.

"Yah! If anything I'm the dominant one!" I say fighting back trying to get loose. He tsks, "from my point of view it doesn't seem that way." He grabs my chin and lowers his face a few centimeters away from mine. We stare into each other's eyes for a couple seconds before I finally manage to get a hand free and push him off.

"Told you I was the dominant one. Now I have to get home for dinner but I'll see you around, okay Yug?" He nods his head and I make my way towards my house. I take a shower before my mom calls me down for dinner.

My parents ask about the audition and I tell them all about it. Also about how I was praised by one of the judges. After dinner I head up to my room and lay on my bed in the dark. I think about to earlier in the day, why did I feel weird when Yugyeom and I were so close to each other? I've never felt like that around him, I almost felt like how I feel in front of Taehyung. Could I possibly like him? Nah that can't be, besides Yugyeom doesn't like boys. Or does he? No Jungkook snap out of it, you literally just had your heart broken a few days ago. I can't and won't go through that again!

A/n: there might be a little yugyeom and Kookie ship I the next chapter but only that chapter. This is still a Taekook book but it will help progress my plot a little better. Although it's not for sure yet I could add it I might not, just a little heads up.
