Chapter 9

Ella's POV

We got to school 10 minutes early, and the parking lot was half empty.

"Why are we early", I asked

"Because you won't have a suspension", he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world

"What am I supposed to do", I asked clueless

"Get to class. Do some homework. Talk to your friend", he said as we got out.

"You say it like it's normal"

"It's your normal until your mom comes back"

I sighed and shut the door, slinging the bag over my shoulder

"See you in first", he called

"Yuppers", I said as we parted ways

I walked to the entrance where Danny was.

"Why are you so early", she asked

"Because I drove with Nerd", I say joining her on the grass

"What", she said and turned towards me.

"Living with him for awhile"

"WHAT", she asked

"My mom left for a business trip. So she left me with them"

"Where do you sleep", she asked

"Well, in a guest room. But last night I fell asleep on his chest last night"

She shrieked so loud. Everyone turned towards us.

"What", she said loudly.

They all turned back around to what they were doing

"We aren't dating. It was an accident. We were watching a scary movie and I just ended up there", I shrugged

She giggled, "Mark my words, you will be dating by the end of the year

"Why would I date a nerd", I asked

"I don't know. Something instead of jocks"

"I'm not just going to make out with him. If I do pursue him, it's going to be dating. Im not gonna hurt him"

Henry's POV

"Did the school's badass just get out of your car and talk to you", my new friend Keaton asked

Keaton has bright green eyes and black hair with light skin.

"You mean Ella", I asked

"Yea", he said

"She's living with me for awhile"

"WHAT", he yelled

Everyone turned towards us

"Sorry", he said to everyone as they turned back around

"Has she tried to make out with you yet", he asked

"No"

"Has she tried to bang you"

"NO. EW MAN", I said

"Has she tried to", he said as I cut him off

"NO. She just moved in yesterday after school"

"You two are going to end up dating", he said adjusting his backpack

"No. We aren't. We are just friends", I say as we walk towards the school

"No one is 'just friends' with Ella Riches"

"I am. Plus she likes jocks", I say as we enter school

"Whatever you say bro"

I rolled my eyes

"See you at lunch"

"Yup", I say as I open my locker
