Henry's POV
"El", I ask as she suddenly collapsed
"El. Wake up"
"ELLA", I say shaking her violently
Silence
"Fuck fuck fuck", I say and scramble to call 911
"911 what's your emergency", the lady over the phone asks
"Yes I need an ambulance. A girl just suddenly collapsed over at 3057 Mountain View", I say panicked
"Okay sir. Is she breathing?", the lady asked
I but my hand in front of her nose
"Yea. But she's not responding" , I say trying not to cry
"The ambulance is on his way"
"Thank you", I cry
After I hung up with her, I called my mom and hers
I rode in with the ambulance to the hospital
"What happened", Gina said as she ran into the waiting room
"We were just talking and laughing. Then she just collapsed", I cry
"Oh Honey. You did the right thing", Mom says as she hugs me
"What about her mom", I ask wiping my cheeks
"She's on the first plane back"
"Ok", I nod
"Ella Richards", the doctor said and we rushed over to him
"How is she"
"Are you her mother", the doctor asked
"Until her mom gets here. Yes", my mom says
"She had a clot go up into her brain. Caused by some kind of trauma. She's stable, but in a coma for now. We don't when she is going to come out of it", the doctor said in a monotone voice
"Fuck", I yell
"It's okay honey", mom says rubbing my back
I took a deep breath as to compose myself
"Can I see her", I ask choking back sobs
"Yes"
He takes us to the room and I freeze in the doorway
"Come on. You can do it", My mom says
I sit next to her on the chair and immediately hold her hand and put it to my lips. Cold
I just leave it there while silent tears run down my cheeks
"I'll leave you alone", mom says and leaves me
"El. This isn't how this is supposed to end. You are supposed to yell at me some more. We are supposed to have more make out sessions", I laugh think about it
"Fight over ice cream. How am I gonna play baseball without you. I won't be able to hit the ball or throw it with you. You need to wake up", I cry
A hand gets put in my shoulder
"How is she", Danielle voice cracks
By the sound, she had been crying
"Fucking Gabe did this to her. She had a blood clot from blunt force trauma"
"You think from the", she started before I cut her off
"I know. If she dies, I'm gonna beat the shut out of him", I said
"Let's do it", a voice said from the doorway
We look over
"Bro"
