Ash POV
Darkness. That was all I could see. No light, no no one, just darkness. I slowly sit up and as I did, pain covered my entire body. I didn't know why it hurt so much. I didn't even know what happened.
Sighing, I laid back down when I suddenly heard voices from far away.
"Pika pi!"
That voice... It sounded...
Familiar.
But I can't remember whose it came from. Another voice suddenly rang through my ears.
"Ash, wake up, please!"
Ash? Who is he?
Ugh! Why is my brain not working?!
Millions of questions suddenly filled my head,
Why am I here?
Where am I?
Who are those people?
What happened?
Suddenly, a bright - too bright - light covered the entire place, making the darkness get replaced by light. I shielded my eyes with my arms as the light surrounded me.
What's happening?

My eyes instantly opened as I saw a girl with pink hair looking at me almost about to cry. To my right, I could see a yellow- what is that anyways?
It looked so familiar yet I just can't seem to remember...
The pink haired girl smiled at me, tears forming on he eyes. "You're finally awake."
"Where am I?"
"You're at a Pokemon Center."
Pokemon? Is that what that yellow, thing, is called?
"I found you at the bottom of the cliff unconscious while I was looking for some berries." She explained.
I fell of a cliff? But why?
"What even happened?" She asked.
"That's what I wanna know.."
"Oh.."
"Pika pi!" The yellow, Pokemon, I guess? jumped into my arms.
"Hey, um.."
"Who are you?"
