We were drowning in the sea of stillness
Thinking 'bout how we wanna hold closer
Longing for a love that must be over
Your apology made me feel impressed
Though feeling had not been clearly expressed
Wanna hug you tight and hear your heartbeat
To know you're real yet gotten by deceit
Without words, you revealed the painful truth
Exhausted soul of mine won't seem to soothe
People may say that I was quite naive
For you lied at me and made me believe
My unanswered question made a breakdown
I died a little when you had looked down
Down at ground instead of looking at me
Silence answered, "it's time to set him free"
