I endure the deplorable feeling of being hurt

From the heartbreaking words which they consistently exert

I do protect you from the shallow minded people

Sewing the wounds of mine with a thread through the needle

Because I snivel when they torture you with bum insult

Waiting for these tears to end up and be glad in result

I've been truly affected from the sad phenomenon

That I regrettably cry a river of Cimarron

And yet still, I don't get it why I'm being protective

Maybe because I'm obviously, deeply affective

From how you desperately deal with this situation

Without them accepting your sensible explanation
