It was entirely rare but he was there
A very tall and dark figure somewhere
Hiding face with shyness under the dim
My chaperone confirmed that it was him
The downcast eyes of mine were so blurry
They couldn't seem to see his face clearly
So since my vision was utterly blurred
It had made my inner spirit absurd
Wondering for his authentic response
Imagining all things about his wants
Thinking what he genuinely felt that time
When his brilliant, prominent eyes met mine
He clearly wore his favorite red shirt
I wore my heart that's being filled with hurt
Painfully remembering what once was
How our tragic love story had gone fast
Our funny, old friends seem to be happy
Sharing their sweet stories amazingly
But they also tell me how cold you are
While you are walking with them from afar
You search desperately for a girl's face
For you regrettably feel out of place
But please know that you wouldn't feel alone
If you valued our love that you had thrown
-A ❣
