alysha's pov

"i can get someone to take your things to your room, if you'd like." mr. bradley offers as we walk out of his office. "that's alright. i'd like to see my room first anyway." i smile. "of course." mr. bradley nods.

"you may leave if you like, mrs. davis." mr. bradley says to my mum. my mum nods, "okay. be good aly." "yes, mum." i sigh. i then watch as my mum walks out the school, into her car, and out the car park.

"if you'd like to just wait here a second, i can get someone to take you to your room." mr. bradley says. "sure." i nod. i watch as mr. bradley walks back to his office, presumably to call someone down so they can take me to my room. i sigh as i sit on one of the chairs again - placing my bags in front of me, by my feet.

as i'm waiting, i decide to look around the room i'm in. it's pretty big, with many corridors going in different directions. there are pictures, and art work hanging up around the walls, along with many achievements the school must've achieved or won. the furniture looks brand new, but the building itself looks very old. "i wonder how old this place is..." i mutter to myself.

. . .

after a few minutes, i watch someone walk down one of the many corridors. "are you alysha davis?" the person asks. "yes." i nod as i stand up. "come with me then please." the person smiles at me. i nod as i grab my things.

we then begin walking down the corridor, presumably, and hopefully towards my new room.

. . .

"my name is mr. brown, and i am your new p.e. teacher." the person, now known as mr. brown smiles at me. "well, nice to meet you, i guess." i say. "there's another p.e. teacher that you'll be meeting soon. he's also gonna be your p.e. teacher." mr. brown explains. i nod, "cool."

"anyway, what brings you here?" mr. brown asks. "my behavior is apparently not good." i simply say. "what did you do?" mr. brown asks. "nearly threw someone out a window, throw chairs at teachers, and throw scissors at other students." i happily list. "well, here we don't tolerate that kind of behavior." mr. brown says. "i know. mr. bradley told me already." i say. "have you also met mr. barn?" mr. borwn asks. "yeah. he seems... nice." i nod. "he is. trust me." mr. brown says with a smile.

. . .

after a few more minutes of chatting, and just getting to know each other, we finally reach the bedroom area of the school.

"can i ask you something, mr. brown?" i ask. "you can call me tobi when no one is around, alysha." tobi chuckles lightly. "okay... can i ask you something, tobi?" i ask again. "sure." he nods. "how old is this school?" i ask, curious. "very old." tobi simply says. "but how old?" i ask. "well, it was around during world war II, so that gives you an idea." tobi says. "is it haunted?" i ask. i don't believe in ghosts, but surely a place this old has some "paranormal" activity going on. right? tobi chuckles, "not that i'm aware of." "okay." i nod.

. . .

"here's your room." tobi smiles as he open a old, oak wood door. room 200 is my room. "thanks." i smile as i walk in. tobi walks in after me briefly and places the room key on the shelf next to the door. "someone will be here soon to show you around." tobi says. i nod, "okay. thanks." "anytime." tobi says before walking out, closing the door behind him.

i sigh as i look around my room. it's pretty big/spacious. it could fit a few people in here, but it doesn't. it's just a room, made for one person to sleep in. i don't mind though. i'd probably end up murdering my roommate if i had one within a matter of days - no, in a matter of seconds.

"well, i best start unpacking." i huff before opening my suitcase to start unpacking my things.
